We called Home Tech for a generator to provide power during the PSPS with PGnE. David was very helpful with our questions. While all of the power issues were going on David and company were extremely helpful to allow my husbands medical power needs to be met. He was very generous and caring. All of the employees we worked with were great also.

We feel very confident when the power goes off that our Generac will keep us going!

Called home tech because my spa wasnt working i needed a new panel , i had already known this but didnt mention it to steve.He was honest and didnt waste my time. Steve was able to get my spa working and some other issues i was having around the house. I was so happy with his service in replacing my panel,i had him come back out to replace all the ceiling fans in my home along with adding a outlet behind my tv to hide the tv wires. A+ customer service, i wish i got amazing service like this from every company.

The service was prompt and communication leading to service was great. It fell apart when a quote was made that was about 600% more than what I actually paid for the service rendered.
I would suggest getting a second opinion before going with the quote from this business.

David and Steve from Hometech saved the day! Due to a after hour oven fire, the fire department turned the power off in my home. PG&E would not restore power until there was an inspection completed. Finally, I found Hometech. David answered and set and appointment for me the next morning. Steve arrived on time!He was very professional, friendly, efficient and exceptional. He explained electrical issues in a way I could understand. Not only did Steve complete the inspection, identify and fix the problem. He also gave me great preventative advice. Nothing but fun when you are a homeowner! We noticed a few days ago the microwave was flickering in and out of working, but just thought it was in need of being replaced. Then last night, our kitchen/dining lights were flickering and then just went out completely. Matt replaced the breaker which we thought was the problem but electrcitiy to certain areas in our home still weren't working. Time to call an electrician. Saw good reviews for HomeTech Electric so we called them and even though we didn't think it was an emergency, we called them out. Turns out the main breaker that the lines from PG&E go to was burned out completely and we are lucky the panel didn't get burned out completely!! It was an emergency afterall and we are SO GRATEFUL for HomeTech Electric who came out on a Sunday to help us! David, the owner, was the one who came out and assured us that he could fix it and make it safe for our family and home. He was professional and so kind, it was like having a friend on our side during this somewhat scary situation. Thanks HomeTech Electric!
