Nothing but fun when you are a homeowner! We noticed a few days ago the microwave was flickering in and out of working, but just thought it was in need of being replaced. Then last night, our kitchen/dining lights were flickering and then just went out completely. Matt replaced the breaker which we thought was the problem but electrcitiy to certain areas in our home still weren't working. Time to call an electrician. Saw good reviews for HomeTech Electric so we called them and even though we didn't think it was an emergency, we called them out. Turns out the main breaker that the lines from PG&E go to was burned out completely and we are lucky the panel didn't get burned out completely!! It was an emergency afterall and we are SO GRATEFUL for HomeTech Electric who came out on a Sunday to help us! David, the owner, was the one who came out and assured us that he could fix it and make it safe for our family and home. He was professional and so kind, it was like having a friend on our side during this somewhat scary situation. Thanks HomeTech Electric!

Steve and Humberto,with helper Rolando, are the best! Last rainy Friday we suddenly had power outage in half the house and in our neighboring cottage. Steve came by and diagnosed the problem, which was really an emergency as a wire had caught fire in the electrical box. Humberto and Rolando came by on Saturday (!) and literally spent all day relocating a crazy fuse box out of the attic, and redoing the faulty electrical panel. Dave is awesome. We have a 20 foot plus high vaulted ceiling and wanted to replace an existing light fixture with a new one. We had several estimates, most of the other companies we called said they didn't have a latter high enough, or over bid the job, or said they would get back to us or simply just didn't show up. Dave came through, he did a great job, was professional, personal and just an overall nice man. We couldn't ask for more. David & crew saved the day! We had a massive tree from the neighbor's yard fall and hit the edge our house on Sunday. The tree also ripped down the energized power line coming from the street and did a serious damage to the electrical panel. It was a complete disaster.

I contacted Home Tech Electric on Yelp on Monday and David showed up within a few hours with a solution and put together an estimate right away. His crew had the work done in one day, passed city inspection right away, and coordinated with PG&E to get our power connected. These guys are professionals.

I shopped and got quotes from several companies for a new upgraded electrical panel to support my new pool and they sent out sales people not electricians, they couldn't answer any questions just pushing me to say yes to a price, when I contacted home tech the owner of the company came out answered all my questions gave me a fair honest quote, and completed the job in one day, great professional job, that was 7 years ago and never have I even had to open my panel...thank you guys..
