I hired Mike during my water-damage repair to add two ceiling fans, recessed lighting, some electrical outlets, and a couple of handrails. Additionally, I had a water issue below my sink, and Mike was at my house within an hour. He is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from him. He did all the projects with 100% satisfaction. I had an electrical issue with my bathroom and reached out for assistance. Mike arranged to come out the next business day in the evening after to take a look. Mike was in constant communication with me as the day went on and was pushing out into the evening. Mike never tried to reschedule, he stuck by his commitment to come out that night. While the issue turned out to be something far more extensive than could be done that evening, he provided good explanation of what was going on, and ultimately recommended that given his other commitments, and the level of work required, that I might seek an electrician, and provided a couple recommendations. I truly appreciated Mike's communication through out the process, and his knowing when I should go with a specialist. I got a great feeling in my limited interaction with him and will be calling Mike in the future for other projects.

I've had Mike do a couple jobs for me. He is always good at communicating his schedule and he is REALLY straight forward about expectations, pricing and explaining other potential issues that he might encounter. I think he is fair and honest. This is important with contractors and handyman because you could hire someone for a job and they could not follow through or hit you up with surprise charges putting you in an awkward situation and decision (Note: with any home improvement job there can still always be potential surprise charges because who knows until you take something apart, but if you get an understanding going into the job I would expect it to be less of a shock. With that being said there were no surprise charges with my jobs.). More so, we had an issue that Mike made a mistake on and he got right on top of it and fixed the issue paying for it out of his pocket. It actually cost him more to fix his issue than he made off the job. Maybe this is the most important thing to mention because it shows he is honorable. Obviously we would have both preferred the issue to not have occurred saving us both time and him money, but I'm glad he owned up to it and solved it as fast as possible at no charge to me. I'm sure it was a valuable lesson, and ultimately I would recommend him. Solid guy and pretty knowledgeable.

He patiently answers all your questions and makes you feel comfortable. He will not gouge you on the price estimates. He was able to guide me and provide an estimate on my leaking crawl space issue, without any commitment of work being completed by him.

When my bathroom needs to repair and remodel, I called several contractors then talked with Mike on the phone. Immediately I could feel the difference between them.

Mike sincerely looked the work needed to be done and also the work did not need to spend money on it. He charged very Reasonable Price and did a Solid Work with long hours. Ten days after the work was done then there was just a small leakage, he rushed back on night after work all the way from San Jose to Palo Alto to fix it (because he did not have time next day).

When he suspected the erosion could be caused be the termite, he suggested the low-cost, no-tent needed Orange Oil injection way to handle it efficiently. He was knowledgeable and patiently explained it.

I think customer are very lucky to have an honest, reasonable-rated, solid contractor like Mike to do the work for them so I voluntarily write this review to highly recommended him even though he never asked me to do so. In the future, when I need some repairs to be done I am glad I know which contractor to call first.
