I received service from Chris 1 year ago with this Company and he did a Great job earning a Five Star review . However
My Service on May 26th 2023 has not been a Good Experience at All!

He Stated ""Why do I need to talk to him Again Very Rudely. Then he begins to Argue with me and says he's going to come out and see if Gfci is working or not. Comes to my Home enters behind Mark begins to walk through my House without announcing or stating who he is. I confront him as he enters the third room of my home and told him to Leave my Property with his Attitude! ElectricIan Mark Apologized for his actions.

This is about the sixth time I have called Electric Today to tend to issues in my home. My experience with them has always been excellent. The service is prompt, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Today I had the pleasure of working with Chris and Charlie. It was an elaborate four-part job and they completed all the work to my satisfaction. They provided me with a written estimate and stuck to that cost, even though they did a bit more work. I feel comfortable with these men working in my home. They are honest and care about the work they do. I can recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

A/C went out because of bad breakers. I had to get emergency after hours service. Company sent a tech (nice guy); from Brandon. Shows up after an hour or so, and I told him in advance what he needed to get to complete job (I didn't have experience doing it).
Gives me an estimate off the bat for over $1,000 to change TWO breakers worth about $65.
When I complained and said ""no"", he suddenly came up with a new revised price of $549!!!
I went forward reluctantly because we had no A/C and it was night time. Took him about 20 minutes to make the repair with me holding a flashlight and testing things for him. Incredible RIP OFF!!! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They are obviously out to rip off people for a quick repair. And to do it when people are in a dire circumstance is just not right.

Office staff is great. Techs are professional and polite. Prices are excessively high. Literally twice as much as 2 other electricians we called to do the same small project. AND they don't give you a price over the phone so I had to pay 59 dollars just to get told they are twice as much!

$240 for 5 zip ties in a panel box. Ridiculous. Less than 25 minutes. So much for having confidence in ownership when they let there employees start determining there own pay. Oh this condo is $640k, I'll charge $240 for 5 zip ties. Nevermind I sell 2 dozen properties a year and manage 30. It's why I left the last electrician.

I'd highly recommend calling Electric Today to take care of any of your home service issues. Jessica was super friendly and helpful in directing me towards the next step when I spoke with her. She recommended installing a bipolar air ionizer and sent out a service technician to my home. The specialist named James arrived right away as scheduled. James was very knowledgeable and highly competent at handling such technical issues as was apparent after he installed the bipolar air ionizer. He explained to me from the start step-by-step what an air ionizer was and the benefits that having one installed would be for my family. I truly appreciated being treated so respectfully. In my opinion, Jessica, James and Electric Today are the areas elite home service go-to pros from now on!

They completed a coil cleaning and replaced a capacitor. However, the capacitor was not mounted properly. It was just laid on the other wires in the original cardboard box with the feed wires running directly from it. I would've expected that they at least mount it inside of the holster, as the original had been.

We lost our A/C on the weekend and they sent a Service Rep out on Sunday morning. Within 2 minutes he analyzed the situation and started fixing the problem.
The people answering the phone were Great and the Serviceman, Jacob, was Fantastic... technically trained well, with a very Friendly Attitude, to Help us in our time of need.
Don't waste your time calling anyone else !

Last Wed, I had Electric today come out because my microwave tripped my breaker twice on two different occasions. I left it off until the electrician came. The electrician proceeded to try to trip it by turning off an on my microwave and other items attached to that circuit. He never tested the breaker, but deemed in my new ( less than 2 years old microwave was the reason. Before I spent another 500 dollars on a brand new microwave, I called the company. They said it was most likely not the microwave and asked about the breaker. Since it hadn't happened again, I e-mailed Electric Today asking about a service fee when they diagnosed it wrong. It's almost a week later , and still no reply. On Saturday night it went dark. Since the add said you can text I texted the next morning at 5:30 , then after 9 am, with no response. I finally called and they said the earliest they could get someone to look at it was Tuesday afternoon ( so I was going to be left with no stove or microwave to cook dinner). I decided to see if I could get someone to fix it that day- and I did. It was easily and breaker as the switch on it was very flimsy. I called again this morning to let a manager know of my experience to see if they could refund the 59 dollars because turning a microwave on and off a few times, shouldn't be that much. I was told they would call me back when they were available. 4 hours later still no response, so hence the reviews and contacting the better business bureau. Because as a single mom, who is also a teacher, the 59 dollars is a significant amount to me.
