So happy we found Home Pro Electric. The owner Loutfik installed our outdoor cameras, replaced a chandelier, mounted a tv and a few other electrical things around our home. I was so impressed by his expertise, and professionalism. I highly recommend him!!!

Honest, fast, professional and quality!!! I was given Lotfiks number as a referral from our former electrician who retired. He was very quick to respond to my text and quickly got the job done. Last year, he helped us install outdoor lights on our palm trees etc. We were very impressed.
And for the longest time, we've been wanting to put The Ring security system at our home, but didn't know where to start. After I texted him, he guided us through the whole thing. He sent us links to the products we'd need. We ordered them through Amazon, and he immediately scheduled us for the installation. His prices are very fair. You don't feel like he's ripping you off. We HIGHLY recommend him for all of your electrical needs.

Our under cabinets outlets in our kitchen got short circuited one time as I was using my Braun hand mixer.
My AC guy recommended Loutfik who came on time, made his diagnoses and replaced several breakers that were burned out.
Everything in the kitchen is working properly now.
I think he was fair with his charges.I don't feel I can rate the cost properly because I never asked him to give me a quote over the phone and I am not familiar with the market.
All I care about is that Loutfik was professional, honest and efficient.
I will definitely call Loutfik with any electrical problems in the future.

Lou is amazing! I am moving and the new owners needed all my voice activated switches reverted back to manual switches. Not only did Lou come on a weekend, he didn't charge me extra, and he was reliable and quick! The following week I and ANOTHER unexpected electrical problem and Lou got me into his schedule right away. Not only is he fair, he's competent and incredibly accommodating. Would recommend him over and over again.

We had a full kitchen and bathroom remodel and Lou was great! He is really attentive to what you want, timely and reasonably priced. He came by 2 times after job was done to make adjustments and did little extras without hassle.

Can't say enough about Lou. Came on time, installed a pendant over the sink in place of the existing recessed light. Charged a fair price.

Lou is a great electrician when he wants to be. He has done work for us but his prices are on the higher side.

Around Christmas time I was going through a rough time with work as everyone was in 2020. I asked him for a little bit of a discount and he seemed to get upset and said ""I'm not going to argue over $50 bucks."" and agreed to do the job with the discount but really seemed offended. ""You know how you can tell with people, like the energy shifts"" mind it this is a $950 Job.

I totally forgot about my Chrismas bonus from work and called him a week later and said I have all the funds for you when you start the job so no discount is needed. I didn't take the discount and paid him because I got my bonus from work and like I said, 2020 was bad for everyone.

The job was performed and everything we discussed was complete is the reason for the two stars.

Here is where things get interesting,

We have a pool sub panel that he used to attach a camera. The night after he left I immediately texted him and told him the pool, spa and water lights suddenly stopped working. His response was a story from his experience as a plummer basically telling me it has nothing to do with the work he did and if he came out he would have to give me a trip charge, which I agreed to if he couldn't figure out the problem.

Anyways, a couple weeks passes and I forgot about the pool light as work started picking back up and we started having strong winds. I ended up purchasing a generator to hook to my main panel.

I called/text a few different times with no response whatsoever. I guess he thought it was due to the pool light he didn't want to fix nor trouble shoot which is shame on Lou and not professional whatsoever.

Overall if your going to pay almost a thousand bucks for a job, you would expect some sort of support and service.

Regardless, I myself have found a different electrician that laughed at me when I told him how much I was charged for the previous job and the details Lou did.

All and all I'll list pros and cons for everyone.

Pros:
Does good work when he feels like it.
Cleans up his mess.
Knowledgeable.
Very nice when coming out to give quote.
Speaks English fluently

Cons:
No Warranty on Completed Job.
Charges a trip charge to come out.
Does not resolve Job issues after complete.
Pricing is definitely on the higher side.
Horrible Communication.

Thank you Lou! We had some electrical issues come up and our daughter recommended him. It was a pleasure to work with him and he came quickly and was able to solve our problem right away. We were so happy and relieved to work with someone so nice and talented. My husband and I are planning on working with him on updating our electrical panel next.

Lou is the best! We had an extensive renovation in our home in Valley Glen last year, a complete overhaul. We needed all new electric work, a new panel, lights, etc., and we felt comfortable with Lou the second we met him. Of all the tradesmen we worked with on our home, Lou was by far our absolute favorite! He was patient with us, brought great ideas and electrical designs, was completely fair and transparent on pricing, went above and beyond. In fact, his suggestions for electrical finishes in our home were better than what my husband and I had designed.
