CALIFORNIA:
Home Networks began as a computer services and network cabling company in the South Bay Area with a C-7 Low Voltage classification. We incorporated a C-10 Electrical classification in early 2000 due to the growing need for electrical services. Our expertise in technology allowed us to integrate Smart Home solutions with our electrical services. In the wake of the 2008 economic crisis, our clients began looking for energy-efficient fixtures and alternative energy solutions. This transformation shaped us into Home Networks, Electric & Solar, as we incorporated our C-46 Solar classification.
NEVADA:
In 2019, Home Networks, Electric & Solar, Inc. obtained licensing to operate in Las Vegas, Nevada. We hold a C-2 Contractors License (NSCB). Our specialties include Electrical, Sunpower Solar PV, Tesla EV Charger installation, and Tesla Powerwall Installation.

Randy and his staff helped our home become more safe for our family. Our house was built in the 1950's and the electrical panel was out of date and several wiring jobs from the previous owners were downright hazardous. In a matter of a couple of days, he transformed the antiquated electrical panel into a safe and reliable set up and re-wired our house within proper code standards. Randy is cool guy that is honest and straight-forward and his prices are very reasonable! We would recommend him without any hesitation. We'll definitely call him again with future electrical needs. Thank you!

for a saturday evening service call to troubleshoot a shorted electrical circuit in our house, we were profoundly disappointed. Over the phone we were quoted $250 first hour, $150 each additional. Moved a fuse, opened up a light switch box, took the switch, left the wires protruding out, failed to find short in the circuit, left power on which later blew fuse again. didn't investigate the circuit panel. charged $425 ($25 over quote for 2 hours), had us write separate check for his friend, spent considerable time listening to the football game in the van. regrettably, not professional, or really responsible. have to firmly recommend against. above/below review for home networking seem positive. Would limit work to that, not use for electrical.

Randy and 2-man crew came out to upgrade the house electrical panel, and circuits and do some re-wiring from its circa 1950s era condition to the 21st century. The house has gone from 100 amps, and frequent short circuiting to 200 amps and perfect operation. Randy fix a lot of faulty wiring that he believes contributed to our frequent outages. Randy set up the scheduling with the City to complete the power shutdown before work began and scheduled the inspection the following morning, and he arrived onsite at our house before the city's inspector. As a very considerate professional, Randy hooked up a connection for our refrigerator since I was concerned about food possibly spoiling. This hookup operated all day while the crew worked. I was very pleased with that. The crew completed work at dusk and Randy stayed to talk about what was done. The following morning once again Randy walked through the work, which my husband appreciated. Randy's keen sense of safety around electrical work made it easy to trust him and have confidence in his work and the information he provided. The price was more than reasonable and Randy honored his original quote to us for the work. You can't ask for more than solid professionalism and honesty. We plan to have him return for some additional work inside the house and garage.
This is an excellent company and Randy is a superb professional. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable with the work completed and the product received. We are indeed!

Randy is a true professional and takes great pride in his work.
The first time we spoke, he made his license available, and answered all my questions.
Randy came out to upgrade a Zinsco panel for us to another one, and not only was he able to get it done for us for fairly reasonable rates, but also made it a point to be extremely responsive to any emails, phone calls, and was very thorough in his work. Most importantly, even after working for a whole day, he took the extra time in the evening to walk through the home with me, to show me that everything was working.
I had to call him again another day for the final signoff, and he graciously oblidged, driving far just to make himself available for the final inspection.
Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician!!

Randy was a lifesaver when a circuit breaker flipped and left me with a refrigerator with no power. He responded quickly, was very knowledgeable about the probable cause, and resolved the situation for me with minimal loss of refrigerator contents. He has certainly been added to my personal rolodex and will be the first person I'll call for any future electrical problems.

Randy goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy. That goes a long way. He's bright, consientious, on time and loyal. A nice combo. I recommend him to everyone!

Home Networks & Electrical's Randy Garcia came to fix our internal wiring and also to troubleshoot our DSL connection. Randy did a great job and I would hire him again. Highly recommend!

I recenlty purchased a house and it doesn't have all cable/internet wiring setup, so I need someone who can help to do that for me. After doing some google search and found Home Networks & Electrical that can help for it, so I contact them and met with Randy Garcia. Randy is a nice guy and he tried to recommend how he will do for my house when he came over at the first time. Actually, I was looking for structure wiring for my whole house (4 rooms, 1 kitchen and 1 living room), and 2 rooms needs to have at least 2 drops (cable + CAT5e/CAT6) and one for each location, so the total is 8 location. And, it needs to replace all old wire and cable with the new one and re-wire the coaxial and phone line from outside the house into the central locaiton, and split the incoming coaxial for both vidoe (cable jack and CAT5e/CAT6 jack) into these 8 drops location. And, Home Network & Electricial was able to complete the job in 3 days with my help in these 3 days, so everything seems good. The only I thing I don't feel good about, was the price he charged, I paid more than $3000 ($2200 or $2400 for the labor and I spent $1200 to $1400 for material to finish everything. And, I guess what you pay is what you get. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars because of the price. If the price was less than $1500, I will defintely give 5 starts. Other than the price, the service and work are good and excellent. Thanks Randy.

APPLE computer owner? Hard to get good service? Randy is the very best. He likes them and he knows them really well--backwards and forwards, in an out. The Apple store offers cheerful, instant ""help"", but whoever you get needs to ask the one person in the store how to fix your particular problem. You will wait a week for a tutoring session. Randy knows every piece of Apple equipment, how it works, and how it's fixed. He's really bright--So he is into MANY projects. Getting him to stop for a second to look at your need may be an issue, but once he commits, there's nothing in the way, and the fix is quick and thorough. He goes to far away places--after a bit--and the cost reflects the fact that there are a dozen things going on at his house. If you're not a computer person, you'll have to ask Randy several times for an explanation. He could make a lot of money as an Apple Consultant--but that would cramp his style. If you can talk him into it, bring your problem Apple or Pc to him. It's cheaper and faster, but w/o gps his house is fun to find. G. Green

I came across Home Networks through the Yellow Pages, and was thoroughly impressed with how they helped us.
We needed to do a cable extension at a remote location and Randy was able to get the job done very quickly. Even though the building was not being the most helpful. they were still able to get the work done in one day.
I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone.
