HLC Electric Supply Company’s Service Division provides the installation of fresh electrical systems along with servicing existing setups. We perform a variety of tasks such as panel upgrades, lighting retrofits, service changes, landscape lighting, dedicated circuits, sub panels, ground fault protection (GFI/GFCI), and EV charging stations.

The Sales Division of HLC Electric Supply Company is dedicated to motor control and power distribution apparatus. Our wide selection features brands including Allen Bradley, Square D, Westinghouse, ITE, Cutler Hammer, and GE, plus many more. Our offerings include switch and signal gear from various generations of electrical equipment. Additionally, we offer high-efficiency LED lighting for commercial and industrial uses. Our lighting solutions are DLC listed, ensuring they meet the highest electrical efficiency standards. With our extensive inventory and deep product knowledge, HLC is a valuable resource for commercial and industrial power users and service professionals.

HLC Electric Supply Co. was founded in 1982, but our roots extend much deeper. In the mid-1950s, two brothers, Charley and Art Contreras, launched a business focused on servicing and reselling industrial electrical equipment, known as Industrial Marine. For over twenty years, during what is often referred to as the golden age of electricity, these brothers offered an alternative source for electrical distribution and motor control equipment at a time when manufacturers struggled to keep pace with industrial growth. A significant number of these systems continue to function today. Now, three generations later, HLC Electric proudly serves our community and clients across the nation, leveraging the wealth of knowledge and experience we've accumulated in electrical systems. Charlie Contreras serves as the owner and head technician at HLC Electric Supply Co.. As a licensed C10 electrician, he is an expert in electrical distribution equipment. What distinguishes Charlie in his field is his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship. Charlie is married and takes pride in being the father of two beautiful young children. In his free time, he enjoys sports and is passionate about saltwater fishing.
