HLC Electric Supply Company’s Service Division provides new electrical system installations and servicing of current systems. We perform a variety of tasks such as panel enhancements, lighting updates, service replacements, landscape illumination, dedicated circuits, sub panel installations, ground fault protection (GFI/GFCI), and electric vehicle charging stations.

HLC Electric Supply Company’s Sales Division focuses on equipment for power distribution and motor control. Our wide selection features brands including Allen Bradley, Square D, Westinghouse, ITE, Cutler Hammer, and GE, plus many more. We provide switch and signal gear from all eras of electrical equipment. Additionally, we offer high-efficiency LED lighting for commercial and industrial uses. The lighting we offer is DLC certified and meets top standards for electrical efficiency. Thanks to our broad inventory and thorough product knowledge, HLC serves as a crucial resource for commercial and industrial power users and service specialists.

HLC Electric Supply Co. was founded in 1982, but our roots extend much deeper. In the 1950s, Charley and Art Contreras, two brothers, started a company named Industrial Marine, dedicated to servicing and reselling industrial electrical equipment. For over twenty years, in an era known as the golden age of electricity, these brothers supplied an alternative for electrical distribution and motor control equipment when manufacturers fell behind the rapid industrial growth. A significant number of these systems continue to function today. Now, three generations later, HLC Electric proudly serves our community and clients across the nation, leveraging the wealth of knowledge and experience we've accumulated in electrical systems. Charlie Contreras serves as the owner and head technician at HLC Electric Supply Co.. He is a licensed C10 electrician and a specialist in electrical distribution equipment. Charlie's attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship set him apart in the industry. He is a family man, happily married and the proud father of two lovely young kids. He loves sports and is an avid saltwater fishing enthusiast in his spare time.
