HLC Electric Supply Company’s Service Division provides new electrical system installations and servicing of current systems. We perform a variety of tasks such as upgrading panels, retrofitting lighting, changing out services, installing landscape lighting, providing dedicated circuits, setting up sub panels, ensuring ground fault protection (GFI/GFCI), and installing EV charging stations.

HLC Electric Supply Company’s Sales Division focuses on motor control and power distribution apparatus. Our extensive stock includes brands such as GE, Cutler Hammer, ITE, Westinghouse, Square D, and Allen Bradley, along with numerous others. Our offerings include switch and signal gear from various generations of electrical equipment. Additionally, we offer high-efficiency LED lighting for commercial and industrial uses. The lighting we offer is DLC certified and meets top standards for electrical efficiency. Thanks to our broad inventory and thorough product knowledge, HLC serves as a crucial resource for commercial and industrial power users and service specialists.

HLC Electric Supply Co. was founded in 1982, but our roots extend much deeper. In the mid-1950s, two brothers, Charley and Art Contreras, launched a business focused on servicing and reselling industrial electrical equipment, known as Industrial Marine. For over twenty years, in an era known as the golden age of electricity, these brothers supplied an alternative for electrical distribution and motor control equipment when manufacturers fell behind the rapid industrial growth. Many of these systems remain operational today. Three generations on, HLC Electric is proud to serve our community and customers throughout the nation, utilizing the rich knowledge and experience our history has provided in electrical systems. From the 1950s through today and into the future, HLC has the strength to keep YOUR power flowing!

The owner and lead technician of HLC Electric Supply Co. is Charlie Contreras. As a licensed C10 electrician, he is an expert in electrical distribution equipment. Charlie's attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship set him apart in the industry. Charlie is married and takes pride in being the father of two beautiful young children. He loves sports and is an avid saltwater fishing enthusiast in his spare time.
