Herman is responsive and reliable, he came out on time, analyzed the job and got to work. Herman confirmed where he can run a new electrical line from, cleanly added wire from the pre existing light on the garage and installed the wall lamp. He follows city code with a wall brace and will provide feedback on best practice. I would hire Herman again

Herman was super quick to respond on yelp. As soon as he got my request on Yelp, he asked specific questions and gave me an estimate , which turned out to be perfect after looking at his work. He arrived at the place exactly on time without any delay or fuss. Super professional and knowledgeable. Where other certified professionals scratched their heads and didn't know what to do, he quickly identified the issue with Nest thermostat and fixed it in minutes! Very respectful and reliable. Within 2 hrs he had fixed all the issues and also completed a couple more things that i added. Having a reliable electrician takes away bit of stress from being first time homeowner. Thankyou

Herman (owner) made an appt to come give an estimate. We drove 50+ miles to meet him at the location. He did not show nor did he answer the phone when I called to see if he was coming. I texted him to ask if he was coming and received a text back stating he was too busy. Don't waste your time on HL Electric, the owner is unreliable and does not care about the customer.

Herman successfully fixed numerous electrical problems at a newly acquired rental house. Updated several weak breakers and installed a conduit to safely power outside lighting. Replaced thermostat to HVAC, but most importantly troubleshot both units to properly turn on and off. Hung a new fan and hardwired smoke detectors & several other electrical projects.
His prices are very reasonable, easy to communicate with, and very reliable.
He is the first one I will call for future electrical issues.
