Mel is so awesome i Can pick up the phone and tell him my electrical problem and if I'm lucky which most of the time I am, he sends a electrician out to fix my problem. This company was paid for an inspection that was a complete waste of money and time. After they said the ""system was working"", several serious problems were discovered by another licensed electrician.

They made a bid so high to do some work that was obvious they did not want the job.

They may be nice to some people, but not to others. I was taken advantage of.

Out a member of their community, by delivering a generator to a young family on a rebuilt homestead ( the original homestead was destroyed by Lava flow ) .They even brought them 10 gallons of gas. If I was in Hawaii and needed electrical work done, Hirayama Brothers is the first and only one that I would recommend. They Care!!

These guys are the best! They show up when they SAY they are going to show up and they get the job done. They are hard workers and communicated well with us. Mel the owner, is a total Sweetheart! He came out and did the inspection on what needed to be done himself. He didn't need a pen & pad to write down what I needed done. He set it up all by memory. He sent out 2 of his best boys, Ryan & Russell and they were great! Smiles always and hard workers. They had our office up and running in no time for us to conduct business. I am very happy with Hirayama's work performance and I will only use them as our go to electricians. Pua was a great gal to communicate with. She returned all of my calls and answered my questions timely. She was very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor.

A family operation and great service! Really liked the family feel of this group of folks, and they clearly take great pride in their products/service.
