Hill Electric is a solid choice for a very good electrician in San Antonio. I live on the far west side, and luckily I was in their service area.

The work they did was high quality. Had them run a 240V for an AC in my garage. I also had a whole home surge protector installed too on the main panel. No issues at all. They properly calculated the load and installed everything to alleviate any worries I had about overloading my existing circuits. To stress test their work, I turned on all the lights and appliances I could inside our house while running the AC at full power and it all ran like a charm. They also bent all conduits and made everything look nice and sharp. Definitely professionals.

They are priced a little on the high end, but you get what you pay for! And these guys do it right.

Hill Electric helped us move our utility boxes so we could prepare for some new construction. Eric and Kevin were prompt, courteous and efficient. They answered all my questions, even when it was not necessarily related to THEIR task. I hired Hill Electric for a big remodel of my kitchen and bathroom. I paid them a lot of money for the work they did, and the last project was to install some light fixtures that we were waiting on and to install a power strip in an appliance lift I had built in my kitchen. The light fixtures didn't come in for three months, and when I called them to install them and wire up the lift, they told me that they would not wire up the lift because of some concerns they had, and that they were too busy to come install my light fixtures.
Instead of telling me three months ago that they wouldn't wire up the lift, they left me sitting in my house with no power for my lift for all this time. The owner called me to confirm they would not wire up the lift, and instead of apologizing and telling me they would come and install my light fixtures for free the very next day, as he should have, all he did was give me the names of two other companies.
This was the last of many service lapses over the course of their work on my house. I recommend avoiding this company.

I called three other places first. All three were unable to get me on their schedule in a timely manner and one of the three no-showed twice. In contrast, Hill Electric got me on their schedule within 24 hours of my call. The electrician was courteous and professional and quickly resolved my electrical issues. I would recommend.

This is my 3rd time using Hill Electric and each time they have come out quickly. I purchased a gas stove to replace my electric one in our new home only to discover we didn't have the correct 110 outlet needed for the gas stove. I called Hill and they came out the next day, surveyed the problem, and quickly installed a new outlet so I could use my new range. They were friendly and wore their masks the entire time. I would highly recommend them!
