In 2000 an electrician from Hill changed a non-working outlet in my condo. Turns out, when an inspector checked it recently before my sale of the condo, it was put in upside down. Could have caused a fire! Anyhow, I made an appointment with Hill to come out and fix it and a couple of other outlets, but they didn't show up when at the given time. I called, and got, I believe, Todd, the owner. He was extremely rude, hadn't bothered to call to tell me they were running late, and when I mentioned the upside down outlet, he shouted that no way would that happen, the inspector ""got his license from a cereal box."" This without seeing the outlet. Turns out, when I had someone else out to fix it, it was truly put in upside down. Hill Electric does not stand behind their work and disparages others. And nasty and rude to boot.

I used Hill Electric to install a large crystal chandelier in my living room. The technician Benjamin was on time and professional. Other companies couldn't help me for another month. Hill Electric was at my house in 2 days. I'm having them install 2 more light fixtures next week. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

What I loved most about Hill Electric was their ability to provide service within 48 hours. My kitchen remodel was on hold because I needed new outlets for the stove and dishwasher. It was my mistake (I should have planned for the electrical changes well ahead of time), but Hill Electric saved the day by making time in their schedule for me on short notice. I really appreciated that.

The two kitchen outlets were added in about an hour and the price was very fair. Thank you Hill Electric!

I just wanted to thank Benjamin and Mr. Hill for coming out on a Saturday to install my Tesla wall charger. Benjamin was in my attic for a good hour in +110 degree heat running the line from my breaker to my garage. I am so grateful to him for doing a fantastic job and he also fixed one of my ring cameras that lost power!!! All the work that was done is clean and professionally finished. I will never look for another electrician in the valley. Fair prices! DO NOT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE! Don't waste your time asking for a quote. JUST CALL HILL ELECTRIC!!!!!

He got there and recommended we add a circuit...for which he could not give us a price. Turns out I did not understand how to fully reset the circuit breaker, and he showed me that. Ultimately, I got him to add a plug to the light in our attic, since he was already there. After resetting the circuit breaker we have not experienced a problem.

The electrician was knowledgeable, efficient, clearly well experienced by his professionalism. The job was done right, with no fuss or issues. I got estimates from 4 different firms, and Hill was competitive and straightforward in their estimate. One firm, which I will not name here, tried to up sell me, quoting state requirements for the job that were flat out wrong, and clearly misleading. Hill Electric knew the building code, the current requirements for proper installation, etc. No foolishness about up selling or miss-stating CA law and code requirements in an attempt to generate profit/expense. In, do the work per code, correctly, out. Definitely will use them again for electrical work, definitely recommend them to anyone that needs electrical work done.
