Mr. Hill responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I did receive a few quotes for my project and his prices were very fair. They installed garage lights for me and a ceiling fan (high ceilings). From start to finish, the whole process took about 3 hours. The installer cleaned up any construction debris and made sure were were satisfied with the installation.

Given the experience, I would recommend them.

Poor communication

Multiple phone calls that only crested more confusion.

Free estimate advertising is a scam in my opinion! As soon as I said that I wanted an estimate, they'll called back and canceled, we're gonna pass on this one"". After 3 days with a confirmed appointment!!!

They also don't appear to like to do any attic work, but that's just an opinion after answering all the questions and the final result.

We suggest you look elsewhere for professional customer service and communication.

We scheduled Hill Electric to install an outlet on our tile fireplace so we could mount a TV. We described the job in detail when we scheduled, but when the electrician arrived, he told us he couldn't do an install in tile and left. We had someone else cut the tile and had him come back. That seemed fine until we had some HVAC work done a couple of months later and learned that he had tied into the dedicated line for the heating system, and the HVAC guys had to redo his work.

We arrived at our second home on 12/28 and saw that we had a smoke alarm that was chirping. The problem was that particular one was hardwired some 25 feet up off the floor - on the ceiling of our foyer - with a chandelier in the way, no less. Since we had to get up there to replace the battery, I wanted to replace the whole smoke alarm with one of those newer ones that last 10 years...for obvious reasons. I also had renters coming back soon and needed it done quickly. I called Hill Electric on someone's recommendation and was not disappointed. They came the same day and replaced that smoke alarm safely and expertly. So I had them replace every other smoke alarm in the home as well. These guys are pros. From the customer service to the work performed, they were gold. They are in my book to use from now on. Great job.

Found Hill Electric on yelp and like what I read. Communicated with Todd about minor issues I was having in my park model and he gave me an estimate of $100 to $150 which was more reasonable than some others and could get someone out next day. Benjamin showed up as scheduled and he was able to track down and explain my issues. Benjamin did a great job and I was very pleased with the $125 cost for service.

I had an issue with my electrical panel and Hill Electric was able to come out the same day and fix the problem. This is how a service company should be run. Not only am I happy with the repair I also feel 100% that it was repaired correctly.

I set up an appointment with Todd at Hill Electric through Yelp Messaging, and then confirmed my appt today, and never showed up! I drove in from LA for the appt, and they never came or called. I messaged and finally spoke with their office and they said Todd was not available to come out. I rushed to get here and drove 2 hours. Not right!

Beware of Hill Electric. They came to our home in Palm Springs and could not hook up our 12 volt outdoor lighting. He didn't even seem interested in troubleshooting to be able to provide an estimate. On top of that he charged $120 for the ""service"" call. He was here less than 30 minutes. Go elsewhere for your electrical service!
