I have thought a lot before reviewing this company but I feel I need to do the right thing and not do what this company did. Being dishonest.

I paid 1385.00 to relocate a ceiling fan, to remove some Old lights and replaced with recesses lights, hang two pendants lights and Change the outlets in the kitchen.

The whole job took about 6 hours.

The owner came personally to quote me, I told him all I needed to do and that was change all outdated outlets throughout living room and kitchen. The electrician only changed the kitchen because he was only told about those. Now I have a job that is not completed, a dimmer that is outdated because they chose it and repairs that are insane. I called some people to quote me on the repairs caused by the electrical work and it's almost 3000 yes 3000. If I would have known of the type of damage this was going to create I would have never moved anything and would have waited to hired an honest electrician. I am upset but most of all disappointed.

Great company. I needed 1 outlet installed in a closet, they gave me an accurate quote over the phone. They were less than half the price of another company I got a quote from. I was told by the other company they would need to cut drywall and I would have to call a drywall finisher after they left. Hill electric didn't do that, they found another way. Not only cost me less for the electrical work, but I didn't have to pay an additional company to fix the drywall, they left no holes and were done within 45 minutes. Highly recommend.

Was very appreciative that they showed up with a Mask - Knowledgeable and professional to a ""T"". Todd - the owner is amazing and a man of his word. His price was reasonable. This was on a outside ceiling patio fan. One of the electioneers that came out worked for the company for over 20 years. I will highly recommend them to family and friends!!!!

Mr. Hill responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I did receive a few quotes for my project and his prices were very fair. They installed garage lights for me and a ceiling fan (high ceilings). From start to finish, the whole process took about 3 hours. The installer cleaned up any construction debris and made sure were were satisfied with the installation.

Given the experience, I would recommend them.

Poor communication

Multiple phone calls that only crested more confusion.

Free estimate advertising is a scam in my opinion! As soon as I said that I wanted an estimate, they'll called back and canceled, we're gonna pass on this one"". After 3 days with a confirmed appointment!!!

They also don't appear to like to do any attic work, but that's just an opinion after answering all the questions and the final result.

We suggest you look elsewhere for professional customer service and communication.

We scheduled Hill Electric to install an outlet on our tile fireplace so we could mount a TV. We described the job in detail when we scheduled, but when the electrician arrived, he told us he couldn't do an install in tile and left. We had someone else cut the tile and had him come back. That seemed fine until we had some HVAC work done a couple of months later and learned that he had tied into the dedicated line for the heating system, and the HVAC guys had to redo his work.

We arrived at our second home on 12/28 and saw that we had a smoke alarm that was chirping. The problem was that particular one was hardwired some 25 feet up off the floor - on the ceiling of our foyer - with a chandelier in the way, no less. Since we had to get up there to replace the battery, I wanted to replace the whole smoke alarm with one of those newer ones that last 10 years...for obvious reasons. I also had renters coming back soon and needed it done quickly. I called Hill Electric on someone's recommendation and was not disappointed. They came the same day and replaced that smoke alarm safely and expertly. So I had them replace every other smoke alarm in the home as well. These guys are pros. From the customer service to the work performed, they were gold. They are in my book to use from now on. Great job.
