Purchased a ceiling fan at a big box store; it offered to install the fan for $103. I needed other work done and checked Yelp for recommendations. Hill Electric had good reviews so I called the company. The owner Todd came out to see what work needed to be done (remove and install new fan, remove fan and install new chandelier and remove old light fixture and install new). He quoted me a price and explained that after an hour, charges would be based on 15 minute intervals. The price was more than acceptable and a time was agreed on. Todd and his electrician, Benjamin, appeared on the day and time. Todd explained the scope of the work and left. One hour and 20 minutes later, the work was done, with no mess and exactly as required. Benjamin checked after each job was done to ensure it was correct (and it was). Fast, clean, skilled and affordable. The cost for all three jobs was just a little over what the big box store wanted for one job. This company is old school in its attitude and work ethic; Im glad I called and will use them again as we continue to remodel and upgrade. Thank you Todd and Benjamin.

I first contacted Hill Electric back in May of 2016 to install security lighting around the perimeter of my home. I also wanted to uplight a couple of trees in my back yard which had to be hand trenched in order to lay the new wire. I was so impressed with the work and final cost of the job that I contacted them again just last month to return and hang a couple of outside lights on each side of my garage wall. It wasn't until then that I realized I had forgotten to post a review, something I had planned on doing after the first job but time slipped away from me, I got busy and simply forgot to do it. This review is for that original call as well as the return visit just a couple of weeks ago, May 2017.
With so many electricians advertising their services, Hill Electric is one of those companies that you feel fortunate to have found once you meet the owner. Todd has a very calm, easy demeanor which right away seemed genuine and honest. For me, honesty in any trade business is vital to getting a return call for more work. Todd Hill is one of those people with one of those dispositions. Kind, no attitude, professional. He confirmed that again for me on this last job by finishing the work early, cutting the original two hour time estimate by 30 minutes.. time that could have easily been added on by a less honest contractor. If you have a job that requires a licensed electrician, I can't recommend Hill Electric more highly. Just read through his reviews- repeat clients tell the story. Thanks again Todd and crew!!

Todd was very pleasant and professional during my initial phone call to him, and throughout my experience with his service. He came by with Benjamin to fix my light fixture and both Benjamin and Todd were friendly, prompt, efficient, and honest. I will definitely recommend Todd to anyone who might need an electrician!

Decided to scrape and texture my 1980's condo and needed the old recessed kitchen lights removed and the wooden boxed lights gone in my bathrooms. Called several electricians and Todd was the only one who came to see the job and send me a quote. The others all wanted to 'ballpark' the amount.

Todd showed up on time with his employee, did the junction box moves and then returned to hang all the lights once the drywall and painting was completed. Everything works and looks great!

Just retired to the desert and needed a talented electrician. Todd the owner was quick to respond and was able to work my project into his schedule within 3 days. Benji did a fabulous job on some very challenging electrical work.... I needed a ceiling fan hung from my pergola on my patio where no power existed. They are both very professional, accommodating and take great pride in their work. I also asked them to do a complete landscape LED lighting makeover of my property. Expensive, but primarily due to the beautiful fixtures they selected. I am very pleased with the work they did and I would recommend them without hesitation. You can tell they are routinely busy when a lot of their business is from repeat customers or referrals.
