I received 2 quotes to replace an older Trane HVAC. The Hightower quote was the most reasonable and included a few extras. They told me what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and kept their word on everything. The installers showed up on time and worked nonstop all day to install the system before the worst heat of the day, which is no small feat in July in Texas. I HIGHLY recommend this company. (And so far, I highly recommend Carrier over the Trane system I had. Much quieter!)

Same day service in a very busy time AND an incredibly nice, thorough technician.
James was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to fix our problem while he was here. He explained exactly what the problem was and went out of his way to fix it while he was here. He made sure to clean up after himself and even offered to change our filters and give us some advice on where we could get better custom-sized filters. He's a class act and we're very appreciative.

Hightower has serviced our A/C for many years, and the technicians have always been pleasant and efficient. I am especially pleased that they will describe any issues or potential issues in detail, and have always been able to fix the problems.

Our air conditioner went out late one afternoon Hightower sent someone out immediately. He arrived within 30 minutes. The problem was diagnosed quickly, new motor found promptly and came the next day. We are so pleased with the expert and professional help from Nick. He and Mike really care and take excellent care of their customers.

They responded the same day we called, but price gouged us on the part needing replacement. I found the same part on Grainger ranging from $530-$730 tops, and they charged us $1700!! just for the part. Shame on Hightower for that.

The Best Around!
We ""fired"" our previous HVAC maintenance provider over a year ago and switched to HSI, and we're so glad we did! Our experiences with HSI since then have all been excellent -- from our initial contact with Carlos and John in the office, to the technicians who have come to our home. The tech who serviced our system today was Brandon Crocker. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and informative. He took the time to explain what he was doing, what was working well, and what might need servicing or replacing in the near future. He also told me about HSI's new financing program. I'm totally pleased with HSI, its employees, and its service

First, I called at nearly 1p today, so of course they scheduled me for the following day. With an added opportunity to be called back today if there were any other scheduling changes with others. As luck would have it I did get a call from Hightower about an opening in 30 minutes or so of that call. Completely delighted with this opportunity and Nick showed up in 20 minutes or so. Got right to work immediately. He checked our equipment both inside & out then took care of our issues in about an hour. Hightower has always treated us right and have been honest about the repair process. Highly recommend this company.

Air conditioning went out on a Saturday, leaving us with an indoor temp of 87 degrees. We called our Home Warranty service, only to be informed that the company they selected didn't work on Sundays.
Fortunately my brother-in-law recommended Hightower. I called on Sunday morning and received a call back a couple of hours later. I explained the situation and they had someone call me within an hour to schedule at time to come by that day.
They Tech was prompt, knowledgeable and fixed the AC. I appreciate their quick response and ability to fix the problem in one visit.

Since writing my first review in 2017 we have purchased three more units at two additional properties from Hightower. They continue to give great value for money (which is different than being the cheapest) and deliver perfection at every encounter. To say that a business has never disappointed me once in well over 150 service or semi-annual maintenance encounters and 9 major purchases since 1996 is about the best endorsement I can give. Mike, Jeff, TIm, James, Diana, Dena, Nathan, Joe, Alex, and all the other folks who have been out to our properties over the years - keep up the great work! Wishing you much continued success. If you live in the Arlington area and need help same or next day help, call Hightower. Deno came when my breakers went out. It was just a simple reset but he took the time to teach this first time homeowner (me) how the breaker works, why it tripped, and what to do the next time it happened. Plus he didnt even charge me the full first hour. Deno was very responsive, respected my home, and was straight up honest.
A few days later my AC went out. I called at 2pm and the call taker said, ""I can have someone out first thing in the morning or this afternoon. Which do you prefer?"" I chose same day and Justin came to the rescue. He found the problem, recommended I did a leak search. To hold me over, he topped off my unit with refrigerant even though it was leaking. He came back 2 days later for the search. He found the leak and invited me up to see. He took the time to inform me about what went wrong, the most likely reason it happened, how to fix the problem, and here is the kicker recommended the upgrade needed to prevent it from happening again. Justin kept me in the loop every step of the way. He was honest, respected me and my house, and I can tell he truly cares that I am comfortable in my home.
Mr. Hightower, your company has earned my business because of Deno and Justin. Those two are keepers sir. Dont lose them!
