I had a hard time finding a handyman. At least three handyman's before Higher Level no showed on their appointments. Toby and Matt were prompt, professional, responsive, and do good work. I am so glad I found them. They like to work via text, no problem with me. They send before and after pics. You need to pay half up front, also fine, they are a small business. I will most definitely being calling them for my next project.

Matt was awesome! He came by to quote me for a couple projects I needed to have done in my home. At the time, I was working on replacing my kitchen faucet myself, and was having some issues. He stayed for almost a hour and completed the faucet installation for me. The work is excellent and he was really professional. Just the fact that he was willing to stay and help me out, gives you an idea of his character. I absolutely recommend this company for any of your handyman needs!

Short version review... HIRE THESE GUYS! Outstanding work. Longer version... Every step of the way, they embody professionalism. Immediate call back when we left a message. Set an appointment for site check and quote. They showed up on time, and gave us a fair price for the job. They texted us three times that day to confirm their arrival time. On the day of the work, they continued to update us on their arrival time. They have great communication skills. When they left, we had an exact idea of how they were going to do the job. On the day of the work, we were scheduled in the afternoon, so we expected the possibility of being late, as they have no control over the length of the job they are at before us. That is totally understandable, and acceptable. They made sure they did not leave their current job until it was done. When they knew they would be later than expected, they were in constant contact with their expected arrival time. They showed up later in the afternoon. Toby told us how long the job would take, and that it would go into the evening, so he brought lights. Most people would just cancel and reschedule. These guys came at 3pm on a Friday and worked until 8pm. The job they did was perfect. Their attention to detail is exceptional. They take real pride in their work. They are clean cut, personable, and have a sincere concern for their clients. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

I hired Higher Level Handyman Services to repair our kitchen flooring and am so glad I did! They were easy to communicate with, came out for a free estimate, and gave me a very fair quote on the spot. Best of all, they were able to do the work right then and there. Within an hour, my kitchen floor looked brand new. I appreciated their quality of work and attention to detail. I'm already making a list of other repairs that I need done around the house so I can hire them again!

At the end of the day Tobby did good work. I sent him pictures of some areas of my house where drywall was ripped out due to a leak. He was very responsive and easy to work with. All of the actually drywall repair was done satisfactory; however, the bathroom wall that needed some texturing and minor touch up and painting was poorly done. The texturing was way to thick and the color of paint was not the match of the adjacent walls in the bathroom. Another thing that bothered me was the nonchalant attitude regarding the dumping of the drywall residue in my back yard without my approval. I think there were some miscues between Tobby and I regarding what my wife and I needed done and what he and his brother thought needed to be done. I would've given 4 stars if not for a few of the discrepancies I mentioned above.

My mom has can lights in a 10 foot ceiling, and one appeared to have an issue when I tried to change the bulb. I didn't feel comfortable working at that height so I contacted Matt, who offered to go out and assess the problem. I appreciated how prompt he was, and how professional in his communication with me. As it turned out, the bulb was bad so he went and bought new bulbs at Ace Hardware and installed them at a very reasonable rate. My mom is very happy, and we highly recommend Higher Level Handyman Services.

Both Toby and Mat took the time to answer all our questions; pleasant and very patient. My husband worked in construction many many years ago. It takes a lot to impress him. He gives these guys a thumbs up...and that is a rare compliment from my husband, for sure!

So...responsive, yes. Professional, yes. Dependable, yes. Do I recommend Higher Level? Heck, yes!

I had them install my front fence and I am very happy with the quality of work. They are very professional and communicated every step of the way. Toby answered all the questions I had and followed through with the agreed time that the job would be finished. These guys are hard workers. They took down most of my old rotten fascia boards and sections of my pergola and totally redid them with new wood, paint etc. They they fixed my roof too. Very friendly and have good attention to detail! :)

Highly recommend! I will definitely use them again. They were very professional, communicated well, showed up when they said they would. I had a window frame with water damage and they were able to replace it perfectly--and without damaging the paint around it.
