I hired Ricardo to upgrade my houses service panel. He did the online application with PG&E. Followed up with PG&E arranged for them to come out to unhook the main and hook up it up to the new service panel after he had installed the pole and panel. I didn't have to do anything. I will definitely use him again.

Ricardo and his team was great. We had a few issues that needed repair within our house - replace an aged electrical panel that was causing shorts, a backyard power problem of unknown origin and a few indoor power sockets that were not working. We had actually also shopped another vendor who also conducted an ""initial assessment"" the first vendor was unable to diagnosis the issue and noted that they would need to come out to do a ""more in depth"" inspection. The main reason we went with Ricardo, was that he fixed both our backyard and power socket problems within the an hour of his initial assessments through ""quick and simple fixes"" of which the other vendor was ""unable to discover"" or was trying to upsell me more. His ability to quickly test issues and explain why it was broken provided me the confidence to choose him. The other vendor we had also shopped was more ""professional"" looking with marketing flyers, different plan options, dedicated call center, different technicians for different problem types, and strong operating procedures that would make their business scalable and consistent. We decided to go with Ricardo because he was someone that could do it all and we wouldn't get lost or upsold in the ""process"".

When you hire anyone to work on your house (or parents house, in my case), you want someone who knows what they are doing, are reliable, trustworthy, honest, reasonably priced and completes the job that you hired them for. Ricardo meets and exceeds all these and more. He was the first to respond to my requests for an electrician to replace our electrical panel and sub-panel, first to stop by and look at what needed to be done, and quick to send a written estimate. He responded to every text message quickly and answered the phone every time I called. Workmanship was of top notch quality, quickly and efficiently done. He even found the time to help me with replacing a wall box I was working on myself and untangled a mess I created trying to replace a standard outlet with a GFCI one. Ricardo clearly knew what he is doing, stayed true to his word and left me feeling extremely satisfied.
