I recently moved and brought my level 2 EV charger with me. I needed an electrician to add a new 40 amp circuit and install the EV charger directly behind the electric panel. Oscar was quick to respond with an initial estimate, answered all my questions via Yelp messaging and setup a time. He promptly arrived at the agreed time and took care to do things right! He completed the work to my satisfaction with no surprise costs at the end. I would highly recommend this business (Oscar) for your electrical needs.

I first retained Hi Cal Electric for a pretty simple GFI problem in my backyard. Oscar responded very promptly, arrived on time and was well-prepared. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I mentioned a GFI problem in a recent bathroom remodel. He discovered that it had been wired incorrectly so he quickly fixed that as well. I was so pleased with Oscar's service that I hired him to install a ceiling fan in my garage. Another 5-star performance. Then, last month we hired Oscar to install smart LED recessed lighting in two upstairs offices. Another job well-done...punctual, well-prepared, efficient and super neat. Then last week we had Oscar install several smart LED fixtures in our kitchen and living room. He also removed the old fluorescent kitchen fixtures. Again, a 5-star job. We consider Oscar and Hi Cal Electric to be our personal go-to electricians for all future electrical jobs. We are glad we found him on Yelp!

Our 23 year old hard wired doorbell didn't work. Electrician we hired fixed it but after two months it stopped working again. Oscar from Hi Cal fixed the underlying problem, installed a new transformer and got the doorbell working again. His charges were very reasonable. We highly recommend Hi Cal as a very competent electrical service.

Thoroughly, thoroughly satisfied! House we just bought has some funky DIY electrical system - external security lights wouldn't work, couldn't figure out how to operate tree lights, only half of hall lights worked (even with new bulbs) and worst of all, brand new ceiling fan it bedroom had no power... in 105 degree heat!
Oscar came out and troubleshot everything, had it all figured out, powered security lights AND the fan working in 2hrs! Plus I now know how to fix the other two issues myself, when I get the parts.
Booked Oscar on Yelp at 10pm, he was at the house 10am following morning. Very friendly, and cleaned up afterward! Best $225 I ever spent!

Quite satisfied! Reasonably priced compared to other Bids I received. Very prompt & good follow-through during the arrangements. I had three job items, two repair & one ceiling fan installation. Everything completed in a timely manner & even did an 'enhanced' aspect to two of the repair jobs that I wouldn't have known to ask for. Can definitely recommend & would use again!
