I am so impressed with Russell and this company. They are HONEST and PROFESSIONAL! I noticed my GE Monogram refrigerator was not as cold as it should be, so I suspected a problem. I called a different company who told me it would cost $5400 to replace parts. I felt uneasy so I called Hertzfield for a second opinion. They sent Russell, a senior technician, the very next day. Russell diagnosed the problem quickly, and after a deep cleaning, my refrigerator is working! I am so happy to be their customer and will call them if I have any electrical or appliance work that needs to be done. Don't go anywhere else! Hertzfield is the best!

I've had Russell from Hertz provide services on two occasions and both times the process was awesome. He was very clear about what diagnostic work was being done, and walked me through step by step on what was being tested and replaced. Went so well the first time that I didn't hesitate to reach out when I needed help with something else. Never once felt like I needed to worry that I might be getting upsold on stuff that wasn't needed. Highly recommend.

Not sure I can recommend the service. My freezer in my fridge stopped working after 7+ years. I got Hertz appliances through Yelp. The repair guy came, opened the freezer checked the temp. Both in the fridge and the freezer agreed that something is wrong. Told me in length what is the problem and that they don't have good experience repairing this model (they knew the model number before coming). And that he recommend replacing the fridge. Paid $80 without even receiving any quote for a repair.

Had a great experience with Richard at Hertz. We just moved into our 23 y/o house and in the first 3 months, noticed two issues - one of the burners on the stove wouldn't ignite and the drip pan in our fridge kept on overflowing. I originally called a company that only works on sub-zero and viking to come take a look at our fridge and the only thing he did was empty out the drip pan! Waste of $160 for diagnosis fee.

Hertz came and diagnosed each for $80 and spent the time necessary to get to the root of the problem. The issue I'm having is a compressor that's on it's last legs so now I have the tough decision of whether to go through with the costly repair or to save up for a new fridge. Regardless, I was extremely satisfied with Richards patience in spending the time to troubleshoot and get to the root of the problem. It is apparent that he really cares about the customer.

Hertz does such a great job that I had them do 3 repairs in 2 weeks. First it was my refrigerator - Russell had the repair done within an hour. He mentioned that Hertz does electrical repairs, so I immediately scheduled him to return and replace three accent lights with a wiring problem. Russell diagnosed the problem, recommended a better solution, and did an amazing repair including patching ""too big"" holes and touching up the paint. The new lights look better than the originals ever did! In the meantime my dishwasher had died so Russell coordinated the dishwasher repair with the light installation. If I could give Russell and Hertz six stars, I would. They are outstanding!

Emailed them on Sunday evening to get them to look at a possible refrigerator thermostat issue because of an 'over-temperature alarm', they responded with a 2 PM Tuesday afternoon scheduled date. Technician ""Antonio"" texted that he could be there an hour and a half earlier. ""Richard"" showed up in a car, not driving a service truck, with a tool box. He was wearing a mask but did not have shoe covers but said he could take his shoes off.
He measured the inside temperatures of various spots and said they were only off less than 2 degrees which is good. Anything over 5 degrees could be a probem apparently . He took off the back panel and said overall everything looked good but it was a little dirty, suggested he could clean for $250. We said that we would do that ourselves if everything else seems to be OK. (Took us 30 minutes to clean/vacuum)

We paid $80 for service call but their website shows a $30 Senior discount.

But the fine print says it's only applicable for labor if they do a repar job, and then they will waive the $80 service call charge

In retrospect, we believe that we left the door slightly ajar causing the alarm but wanted to make sure that our refrigerator was checked out..

Had Costco deliver a new LG washtower a few days ago. It came vented out the back but we needed it moved to the side. Their installers were unable to do this even though we had purchased a conversion kit. Called a couple appliance repair companies and no one wanted to do this until I contacted Hertz. Scheduled an appt and Richard came out early and was able to complete the job in about an hour. He was very professional and did a great job. I saved his business card and hopefully won't have any appliance problems anytime soon but if I do I know who I'll be calling!

My dishwasher was leaking, so we called Hertz to send someone to help us. I am so glad I did.

Richard came on-time and prepared. After a quick initial diagnosis, Richard immediately identified the issue. He communicated clearly what was needed, and he got the necessary parts in a timely manner. He did a great job fixing our dishwasher.

Richard is responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous. I recommend him and Hertz.
