José B and his partner arrived on time and quickly rewired the electrical switches to our backyard lights and outlets. The old wiring was dangerously mixed up which resulted in a scary sizzling, light-flickering, circuit-breaking situation. Jose answered all my questions and kept me informed about the process. I'll definitely be calling again for future work!

The job itself took months.

We never would have known that there were so many issues with the work if we hadn't had separate inspectors come and tell us afterwards. The wires were never strapped down in the attic and under the house. The panel had the wrong breakers installed. The permits were never left on site with us. (We didn't know that permits were not supposed to leave the job site in the first place. We were never even given a physical copy.)

Whenever we call, the admin answer with ""let me ask Robert and I'll get back to you"".

In the end, more than 1 YEAR after they began work, we had to ask inspectors to figure out what was missing to close the permit.

On the plus side, they sent cleaners when we found the interior of the house covered with dust, and the toilet bowl covered in... marks. And they ate our snacks. Another plus: after using my brand new ladder and leaving chunks of material on it they were willing to replace it with a new ladder.

They provided a quote with no scope of services or description of the work to be performed. When I asked for this to be included they would not add the information to the quote. Essentially, they wanted a signature on a black quote with only a dollar figure.

We got a couple of quotes from highly-rated electricians and this one was by far the better deal. Electric Heroes installed canned lighting and GFCIs and troubleshooted some shoddy electrical work on our new house. They were very respectful and good about explaining their work and any issues they ran into. They also made a great recommendation for a painter to patch the holes left over from the job, and that process was equally smooth. I'm looking forward to working with them again!

Matt and his team did a great job upgrading my main service to 200 amps. I have underground service and a very long run (70+ ft). I talked to 8 electricians who all said pulling new conductors was too risky and I would need to trench and install new conduit. Fortunately I found Electric Heroes. Matt came out and confirmed I had a 2in conduit and told me right then it would be no problem. He then worked with Alameda Municipal Power to make sure they had capacity to support the upgrade and was able to track down a 200 amp panel (they are sold out everywhere because of the supply chain issues). From the moment I reached out to this company, they were fantastic! The owner Edon met (virtually) with me to go over the job, and within 5-10 minutes I had the estimate. He reviewed line items and answered all of my question. Three days later Jose and Brian came to my home to install an outlet. Jose walked me through all aspects of the job, and what was suppose to take about three hours, took two hours. Work was professionally done and walls where they did work looked none worse for the wear. If you're considering electric work, I HIGHLY recommend you consider this company!
