Poor customer service, quality of work, communication and follow through with issues. I was part of a large group that chose this company to replace our electrical panels in our condos. First, they didn't show up for the first scheduled appt, no call and no show. Second, poor workmanship as there was a 3 inch gap left above the electrical panel for weeks. They did not paint as promised in the contract. The city permit was also included in the contract and it did not pass the inspection. Another electrician came out and worked for several hours replacing the work that was previously done so it would pass. I've reached out multiple times via email and phone to receive a copy of the city permit, yet haven't received anything. I'm very dissatisfied with the entire process as they are very unprofessional and feel that once they received their money, they don't seem to follow through with the contract. They guaranteed a pass by city inspection, yet haven't provided me the proof by providing me the permit that states so. I guess I have to take further action.

AWFUL. BUYER BEWARE.

I needed an electric wall heater installed and requested a Saturday. They sent me a text Friday confirming someone would be there Saturday at 9 am. I got there before 9 am and after waiting for an hour I decided to call them. No one answered so I left a message. After another hour or so someone called me and said no one is scheduled to do any jobs this particular Saturday. And that I had to reschedule.

I did. I asked for a 1 pm appointment. I called them a day before to confirm my appointment for 1 pm the next day. They said they have me down for a 9 am appointment as they might not be able to finish if they started at 1 pm. That's fine but why didn't you call and tell me?? They said they got busy. Really!??

They showed up this time but brought an electric wall heater that does not have an ON/OFF switch. I asked them why they didn't tell me which wall heater they were going to install before they brought it. No real answer.

After the installation, I asked if they could offer a discount for all the trouble they caused me. They refused!!

If you are reading this .. I hope you will explain how unreasonable I was. As I would love a chance to show the facts of my experience.

Got my main panel upgraded to a solar ready one. They had the best price and did a clean job. There were some scheduling issues but understandable given the nature of the job and the involvement of external parties like the city and Pge. Robert explained the job well and Anna handled all scheduling etc. really courteously and promptly. They did miss out on communication a few times but if you just keep calling them and stay on top - it's all good.

First, we had them come out to look at the site and give an estimate. Later that day, they requested payment for work that hasn't even been scheduled.

I went to EH because of the reviews I read!

We had so many issues with EH! Scheduling, wrong items delivered, bad attitude, incomplete work and leaving the site, incorrect work done. We finally had enough and going to have another vendor complete their work.

Ana, the support person, was good to deal with and did her best to find solution to the situation she had no control of.

I was hopeful, but we are not going business with them again.

Absolutely outstanding! I had a somewhat complicated emergency issue during the severe storms early January 2023 and not only were they able to show up the same day I made the call, they were able to accurately and intelligently pinpoint and solve my problem. Will most certainly be calling them for future electrical work. Very highly recommended! Electric Heroes indeed!

Heroes is an understatatement.
Matt and team accomplished what was seemingly impossible...I called them around noon on a Friday (MLK weekend) when I learned from PGE that we needed a complete 400A panel replacement and Matt went right into action. They had a building permit in hand before end of day (miracle 1), they had located a 400A panel (backordered everywhere until April) and had it in hand Saturday (miracle 2) and thx to a very helpful and responsive PGE lineman we had power turned back on Sunday (miracle 3). 48hrs to solve a major problem that everyone thought would take at least a week exceeded all expectations. Thx Electric Heroes!

José B and his partner arrived on time and quickly rewired the electrical switches to our backyard lights and outlets. The old wiring was dangerously mixed up which resulted in a scary sizzling, light-flickering, circuit-breaking situation. Jose answered all my questions and kept me informed about the process. I'll definitely be calling again for future work!

The job itself took months.

We never would have known that there were so many issues with the work if we hadn't had separate inspectors come and tell us afterwards. The wires were never strapped down in the attic and under the house. The panel had the wrong breakers installed. The permits were never left on site with us. (We didn't know that permits were not supposed to leave the job site in the first place. We were never even given a physical copy.)

Whenever we call, the admin answer with ""let me ask Robert and I'll get back to you"".

In the end, more than 1 YEAR after they began work, we had to ask inspectors to figure out what was missing to close the permit.

On the plus side, they sent cleaners when we found the interior of the house covered with dust, and the toilet bowl covered in... marks. And they ate our snacks. Another plus: after using my brand new ladder and leaving chunks of material on it they were willing to replace it with a new ladder.

They provided a quote with no scope of services or description of the work to be performed. When I asked for this to be included they would not add the information to the quote. Essentially, they wanted a signature on a black quote with only a dollar figure.

We got a couple of quotes from highly-rated electricians and this one was by far the better deal. Electric Heroes installed canned lighting and GFCIs and troubleshooted some shoddy electrical work on our new house. They were very respectful and good about explaining their work and any issues they ran into. They also made a great recommendation for a painter to patch the holes left over from the job, and that process was equally smooth. I'm looking forward to working with them again!
