I have known and used Rocky Herbert as my electrician both personally and professionally at work for 5 years now, and I can say without a doubt, he is one of the best and most trusted individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I know I if I have a project or problem, Rocky will handle it in a professional and timely manner. He charges fair prices for his high quality of work and goes the extra mile to ensure everything is done to code, the correct and safe way. I have used many electricians over the years for different projects or issues, and Rocky is now my go to guy that I can trust and rely on to give me the straight scoop on whatever the need may be.

I had Rocky come out and upgrade my main panel. All the breakers I had are over 50 years old and some will not reset. I was replacing my roof and the service mast was needed to be relocated so it wasn't over the patio cover. His pricing was very fair and the professionalism was superb. I've used him a few times before for a few minor jobs. This was a pretty big job and he didn't stop when it started raining. Who works on electrical stuff when it rains??? I like how he drives a fully stocked truck and never had to leave to pick up needed parts. This made it possible to wrap up the project quickly so I was able to finish my project. I recommend this company for any electrical repair.

I had a dead short that took out a hospital bed, clocks and a TV. I had just replaced my HVAC system. So I called Family Air and Jerry the Owner came out early the next morning to check it out. He Called Rocky and he showed up a couple of hours later and found and fixed the problem, at a very reasonable price. Excellent service! I would highly recommend this firm as this was a potential fire hazard. By the way the problem was not caused by Family Air that is also, a 5 star company. When you hire the best they typically refer the best.

I wish I knew how to rate a half star and that would be because he showed up. Unfortunately this company did not meet my expectations. I was told over the phone that and inspection was 300.00 and an after hour estimate was 59.00 well I definitely over paid because I got a inspection done and he emailed me a estimate. A four liner this is NOT ok I would like a refund for this after hour estimate. Please do your research before selecting a company especially this one.

We had a lot of recessed lighting installed by Herbert and Sons when we purchased our home in 2005. They arrived on time, did excellent electrical work, clean up was great, they're very personable, professional and trustworthy. I work from home and Rocky and his crew were very considerate about the noise level and interruptions while working. Other contractors have left black fingerprints on our white ceilings when getting into the attic and Rocky and his crew have no problem at all when I ask them to wash their hands when they arrive - they get it and are extremely accommodating when you request things like this. We've had them back several times since 2005 to install ceiling fans, smoke detectors and additional lighting throughout the house. The trucks are always supplied with parts and equipment needed to complete the job and they work very efficiently. During this last visit before any sawing was done in the ceiling Rocky placed round stickers on the ceiling to give me a visual for where the lights would be placed. He also noticed that our smoke detectors were outdated, which was on the ""honey-do"" list. He gave me a price and they were installed during the same visit, which was awesome! The communication is excellent throughout the process as they want to ensure that you're more than satisfied with their work. With every visit back to our home, Rocky and his crew are consistently on time, professional and the work is thorough and top-notch. It's very easy to talk with them to explain what you want, they make good recommendations and suggestions without any pressure, they go out of their way to do nice things for their customers and they walk into your home with a smile and positive attitude. They've stood the test of time and their track record is definitely consistent - I would very highly recommend Herbert and Sons to anyone who needs electrical work. We will definitely be calling back when we remodel the master bathroom in a few months!

We are so pleased with the recommendation of the Whole House fan system Rocky had sold and installed at our residence. On cool evenings we open a few windows and our upstairs temperature will drop up to 10 degrees in less than 15 minutes allowing us to run the AC less and lower our electricity bills drastically over the summer. Rocky also recommended turning the fan on in the mornings to cool the attic which in turn keeps the house cooler with the rising temperatures throughout the day. I highly recommend a whole house fan to any home owner, and these guys did an exceptionally clean installation and Rocky gave us several options and speed controls on the fans that the manufacturer does not even suggest as an option. Herbert and sons, you light us up! Look forward to having you out for any and all electrical need in the future.

We needed to replace and upgrade our electrical box/panel in our new home, installed fixtures, dimmers and other smaller projects thrown in.

This was our first experience with a contractor and Rocky and his crew were highly recommended. They were very thorough, on time and professional. I felt secure knowing that we had a competent crew doing some major work and they're super friendly and helpful. We had a motion light put in and when it went out the next day, Rocky quickly replaced it. Great service.

I was in a bind with an electric situation in my kitchen that needed immediate attention, and of course, it was a Sunday. Recommended by a close friend, I called Herbert and sons, on that Sunday. Being a new customer with no relationship with their company, I was impressed and surprised that they called me right away on the Sunday!!!. Answered all my questions and made an appointment the very next morning. The attention and expertise...amazing. Safe, clean, honest, and fair...rocky is exactly that, a rock star!!!! He fixed my kitchen issues and politely happily troubleshot a few other issues as well...the service fee is fair and right as all contractors charge a service fee and its part of the job if they do the work. Rocky is excellent, smart, and a super nice guy. I highly recommend their services.

Not only was the work impeccable and the cost reasonable, but the customer service was amazing. We remodeled our garage, turning it into a home gym, and needed some outlets and new light fixtures installed. We purchased the light fixtures and had a particular layout we wanted to have them installed, but we really have no experience with this type of work. When Rocky came to our home for the inspection, he made sure that our electrical box was sufficient, that we'd get the power we needed for all of our gym equipment and that our proposed layout was really right for the space. His recommendations as to layout and power needs were fantastic. Also, at the time our son was barely two months old, which Rocky found out on the initial inspection. When our scheduled installation date came around, we got a call from Rocky letting us know that someone in his family had come down with a bad cold and wanted to make sure we knew in case we wanted to reschedule so as to avoid possibly getting our son sick. It was extremely thoughtful of him and we were happy to reschedule to avoid that. On the reschedule date, Rocky and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up all of their tools and debris before leaving. The work was fantastic and we're definitely planning on calling Rocky to do the electrical work in our kitchen remodel soon!!

Something that is not stated on their web site or in any of the reviews is that they charge a fee just to come out and look at what needs to be done. I have not had this with any other electric contractor.
