The last two times this company has been sent out by American Home Shield to remedy outlets that are malfunctioning and both times they have done nothing - always in a hurry to collect that money from AHS by saying they ""showed up to the service residence"" but the work isn't covered. Even when I've offered to pay out of pocket, they just leave w/o doing anything. My interior wiring / outlets are covered by my policy. ABSOLUTE SCAM. If you are going to contract for a warranty company, the services you provide should be equal to that of what you provide to non-warranty customers. The first electrician who came out was great - fixed two outlets and a ceiling fan that wasn't working. However, his colleagues have been unable to provide the same quality of service and I've never seen him again...probably moved on to a more ethical company. I've also complained to AHS to no avail - this is the ""only"" electrician they are contracted with in the Austin area....hmm, seems fishy being that this company is based in Wimberley.

Have had H&C sent out on two different occasions (through home warranty), and both times they were great. Heath came out the second time, communicated great with me before he headed this way, and fixed my problem quickly. He went above and beyond by giving me his number and told me if I ever had any questions with my DIY work to give him a call. Sure enough I needed help with a minor thing I was doing, so I gave him a call and he told me how to do it correctly over the phone. Saved me a ton of headache and probably saved me from throwing a couple of wrenches across the room!

Wonderful experience with H&C Electric! Karen called promptly to set an appointment for the following day. Israel came and quickly assessed the problems. The issues were fixed without delay. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am very happy with the service that this company provided and will use them again when needed.

AHS customer - had a bad plug connection which owner repaired promptly. Second circuit malfunctioned on smoke alarms. Called and owner returned call. Ended up replacing breaker to resolve issue. Owner called AHS and advised smoke alarms are not covered. Owner more concerned about getting paid than resolving issue. I fixed myself and would avoid this company!

We have had outstanding success with H&C. On two separate jobs over the last couple of years (most recently today) Heath went out of his way to assess and fix the issues - one set of florescent lights and a number of smoke detectors. He was very responsive to get replacement parts and return very quickly to finish the job. I give Heath and H&C a high recommendation.

Without reservation, these are guys are my new electricians for every need! I had them out twice through AHS. The first time they sent Juan who was very professional, efficient and kind. The second time, they sent Israel.... OMG, Israel was SPECTACULAR! These guys know their stuff but in addition, they really want to help their customers and be certain they are safe and happy. This company was sent to us by American Home Shield warranty company. Israel came to our house and right away identified the problem. He told us what he found and how he could fix it.
