Don totally replaced my electrical mains fuse box today. He arrived on time and finished on time. He is a hard worker and knows his trade. I did not get any bad attitude mentioned in the 2013 review. I would gladly recommend him to my friends.

I needed to replace a dual-pole circuit breaker with a GFCI dual-pole breaker to change to a new, more modern pool pump motor. I thought I had the wiring figured out, but decided to have an electrician do it just in case I did not know what I was doing. My regular electrician was not available. I called Hawaii Kai Electro Service because I assumed they were close by. Don, the owner, said he could come by early afternoon. He subsequently called and said his earlier job had been completed and he could come sooner. Don obviously knew what he was doing. The breaker is replaced and I am happy.

OK, so I had an outside outlet not working and I call this guy and he says he can be there tomorrow, great. He turns up and expects me to turn the breaker off for the power outside. I'm sorry but isn't that your job? He identifies the burnt out socket with water damage and replaces it with as much disdain and unhappiness as he can muster. After he leaves I note that he has placed the socket in upside down so I can't plug in the watering or lighting system without the water cover being completely up.

In closing, Sir, you are inept and unpleasant and I wouldn't recommend you to my enemies.
