Andrew and Damian installed an EV charger for my new plug-in hybrid. I reached out to him a couple of months ago when I was thinking of buying an EV. Since I didn't know anything about chargers, I asked Andrew and he gave me a recommendation based on what he knows from installing for other clients. He gave me a preliminary quote and told me to let him know once I've purchased a car. Once I was ready, I contacted again and Andrew had availability the same week for install, but I wasn't available for that day. It was easy to reschedule for the next week. On the install day, Andrew let me know when he was on his way. It only took a few hours for Andrew and Damian to hardwire the charger into my panel and mount it on the side of my house. It's In a great spot, looks great, and works great too! Andrew was easy to talk to and he happily answered any questions I had. His prices are very reasonable as well.
I reached out to Andrew for this job because he replaced my main electrical panel a couple of years ago and he did a great job. He took care of the permits, he had a stucco guy on hand, and he even nicely labeled all the breakers. He's my go to for any electrical needs for my home! Don't hesitate to reach out to him!

Objective:

Initially contacted through Yelp requesting mass number of quotes.

I highly recommend Havican Custom Electric! Our AC unfortunately stopped working during a heatwave and we learned that we needed to replace the electrical panel to get it working again. We had a few electricians come out to give an estimate, and Andrew impressed me with his knowledge of city code, friendly demeanor, and very competitive price.

When Andrew went to pull our permit, we hit a snag and were stalled due to the previous homeowner failing to properly obtain permits when installing the old panel. Andrew went above and beyond helping us navigate the process with the city and with a particularly difficult inspector.

When we finally got the green light to install the new panel, Andrew quickly got us on the schedule and got the panel installed. We were impressed with the quality of his work and quick communication throughout the process. We passed inspections and our AC is working once again! Havican will be the first company I call for any future electrical needs.

Andrew was super up front and honest, and BELIEVED ME when I told him what the problem was.

His quote was fair and he was done with the job in 10 minutes.

(One of the breakers flipped and when we tried to flip it back the contacts weren't delivering any juice)

I called 3 other places before Havican and they were ridiculous and demanded a $200 or $250 DIAGNOSTIC FEE... bro I literally told you what the problem was and they would not send out anyone until I agreed with the fee.

Go with mom and pop companies people, these other places don't care about you.

Andrew provided a quick and fair quote at a last minutes notice. He first prepped the electrical wires before our garage ceiling was drywalled. Then he came back and installed 2 bright recessed lights. Highly recommend.
