When I put out a Yelp request to four licensed electricians seeking to change out the original Electrical Panel, (which is 56 years old), and to get a quote, three of the four responded with Andrew of Havican Custom Electric being the first and coming in with the best quote. Upon meeting Andrew and his son, Damon, (who is Andrew's assistant), my husband and I knew we had found the licensed electrician we wanted to work with and didn't have to look further.

We were very pleased at the quality of work Andrew provided from scheduling all the required inspections with Edison, the before and after inspections with the City of La Palma and obtaining the permit to change the Electrical Panel with the City. Andrew is very knowledgeable, conscientious, respectful, (texting me his arrival times for the day), hardworking and very neat, always leaving things clean before leaving for the day and the grounding wire that led from the electrical panel on the side of the house to the main water valve at the front of the house was amazingly neatly and inconspicuously done.

I am very happy with the new 200-amp Electrical Panel that Andrew installed for us and that the four outlets that were inoperable in the kitchen are now functioning. Additionally, I now have peace of mind that I won't throw the circuit breaker during a holiday gathering like I had in previous years or cause a short in a major electrical appliance or worse yet, burn my house down.

I am extremely happy and pleased knowing that we now have a licensed electrician to call upon on all our future electrical needs. I requested a quote from electricians in my area. Andrew responded almost immediately. I called him and he and his son came out that afternoon. Replaced a circuit breaker that would not reset. It didn't fix the issue of no power in my kitchen. I thought it was going to be a big issue. They came back a couple days later because he had other jobs already scheduled. He crawled in the attic and found the issue and fixed it quickly. Very professional and reliable. Andrew and his son are my go too for any electrical issues. Highly recommended.

We moved into our new home last year and needed A LOT of electrical work throughout our home. They were BY FAR, the most responsive out of any of the 5 other quotes we got for the work. They were priced fairly and were on-time when it was time to do all of the work. They did very clean work (I'm super anal about cleanliness and perfection). They did all our recessed lighting, all our fan installations, ran power from the panel for our motorhome hook up, ran a dedicated line for our new Jacuzzi, put in a new subpanel for our new AC unit, a new outlet for our outside TV and also fixed all the incorrect work that was done previously by the flippers in the panel before we bought them home. I can't emphasize enough how crazy I am about work being done clean, level and correctly and they were absolutely fantastic. Andy answered all my questions (I tend to hover a bit while people work as I'm always trying to learn more) and explained everything to us to make sure we understood how everything now worked. The guys came in, did the job, taught me a new thing or two about the structure of electrical outlets that I didn't know. And they left quick because the they were done quick. Not every job can be done quick but they were in and out. They were also very prompt communicators on Yelp as well. They take payment digitally and clearly didn't attempt to portray what was a very small project as something larger and more complex.
