Hasco helped us extend our 35 year old HVAC system these past few years, but it finally died. A year ago another company (touting their Veteran-owned status) quoted us $24k to replace, Hasco just completed a top-notch full replacement for 1/2 that (before rebates!) I'm a DIY home owner and had my AC go out last night. Im trying to save a few bucks and went to Hasco to see if they can help me figure out what my issues may be. They were very helpful in helping me trouble shoot my possible AC Condenser issues. I had them test my capacitor (which was working fine) then later came back for them to test my contactor. My contactor was also fine but decided to get a new one from them since mine is about 25 years old and it does not cost that much for a new part......

.........only trouble I am having is getting the wiring connected right because the new one looks so different from my old one. :(

Ray, one of their senior techs came out on a Saturday afternoon & replaced my water heater's pilot assembly, that I just received from its manufacturer. He answered all of my many questions while he was working. And he did it within their 1-hour minimum. I had a minor billing problem. But Daryl corrected it when I called their office. So I recommend their service.

When we baught our house, the furnace, air conditioner, and the water heater were all plastered with HASCO stickers. They put in a retrofit adaptor kit to a 33 year old furnace. To do this, they had to cut the SAFETY relay, and the gas company ""red flagged"" it. We had two repair men look at it and they both were shocked. They did not understand why anyone would do this as it is ""unsafe."" When I called the owner ""Sid"" he wanted to charge us to come check it out! This was after the office staff emailed me the service records which showed they sold the people a ""preventative maintanance contract"" that extended into 5/2017! They had done this work within the last 2 years! They said they forwarded the remaining contract to the previous owners, however, we baught the house from a bank. It was a reverse mortgage where the owner DIED! This would be funny, but the best part was when Sid and Frank decided to come to our home after all. They initially tried to say it wasn't their work, but their service record told a different story. They then tried to convince my husband that it was fine. Really? Bypassing the SAFETY IS ""FINE?"" The previous owners spent hundreds of dollars and were really lucky the whole house didn't burn to the ground. You decide, but I believe the gas company. They have our SAFETY in mind. That is NOT HASCO' s priority!

Hasco installed a new air conditioner system this month. Workers were professional and seemed competent. However, when they came out to inspect our home and give us a quote, they did not mention that the new unit would be enormous. Our unit is on our back porch, so the size makes a difference. Unlike the old unit, this one is considerable taller than the old one and in our line of sight when we look out the back window. I would never have purchased the system if I had known this; this is information that they should have provided. In addition, no one contacted us after the unit was installed to see if we were satisfied. After spending over $9,000 on the system, I expected at least a phone call. But maybe once they had our money, they didn't care.

Chris and his crew were professional, hardworking, friendly, and explained every step of the process. They worked with our schedule and our many dogs too! The fan on one of our AC units began acting up. Sal Jr. helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. What other HVAC company does this? He recommended a new capacitor, rather than a new fan motor, and recommended that I bring in the old capacitor and his staff would test it. I also brought the fan motor for him to look at. No problems with the fan motor, but the capacitor was no good. To make a long story short, his staff wired up the new capacitor (based on pics of my old capacitor's wiring), provided some helpful directions for the install, a contact number if I had questions, and $140 later the unit was up and running!

HASCO has my HVAC business for life.

This is a different perspective of doing a review of a Company, We are a HVAC Company. A customer called us up to see if we work on wall heaters in the Riverside area, I told the customer no, but I have a reliable Family owned Company that can be called. Needless not to go into details, HASCO went above and beyond that was asked , outside normal Business hours, etc. Company's get slammed for so many petty things, everyone thinks Company's are out to get money, but I can honestly say HASCO is honest as they get. Keep on doing what your doing, Everyone should follow your ethics. Bravo
