Company Overview

We are currently accepting appointments through phone calls and online requests only. Our services cover major commercial maintenance agreements as well as small residential fixes. There is no job too big or too little for our team. We specialize in identifying issues within existing systems and developing tailored solutions to address them.

This encompasses service installations, upgrades, branch wiring, and the installation of receptacles and devices.

Each member of our team is handpicked, thoroughly vetted, and undergoes yearly training to ensure compliance with safety standards and our commitment to excellence. Harmony Electric Co. was founded in 1985 by President Laura Virgadamo and Master Electrician Dennis Virgadamo.

The company was moved to a more advantageous location in 1986: the Houston Heights. Today, the Houston Heights stands out as one of the most historic areas in Houston.

After a successful first year at the new site, Laura and Dennis chose to incorporate the business, officially becoming Harmony Electric Co., Inc. President and CFO of Harmony Electric.

Harmony fixed an outlet that wasn't working for me. They were prompt, worked quickly, and charged a more than fair rate. Highly recommend!

They came out on time and fixed a problem I had with the power going out in my island kitchen. Quick fix and no parts were needed. Price for the service call was pretty steep (almost double) compared to typical service calls from other companies in the area.

We have used them twice. This last time our AC went out, and Bishop came out in 30 minutes. They are affordable, efficient and incredibly knowledgeable.

Great job and really great team! They were prompt, worked great with other crews I had onsite and did a fantastic job. I even got a thank you letter afterwards.

Singing the praises of Harmony Electric electrician Raul this week after he completed a variety of very demanding jobs at my home with promptness, expertise and good humor. Am highly recommending Harmony to all my friends.

I can't say enough good things about Harmony Electric on Yale. I have used them 3 times in the last year and every time they have been great. They are on time, quick, and friendly. The technician explained what was going on and some of it wasn't anything that needed to be fixed. It was an issue with my bulbs. I love that he didn't charge me unnecessary fees for something that wasn't broken. This is my first year as a homeowner so I don't have any idea what reasonable fees are but I can tel you my heart didn't drop when I saw the invoice. Give them a call.

OK, so I managed to somehow remove the base of my kitchen light fixture while trying to change a bulb (don't ask me how that happened). The fact remained that I needed to get it fixed - fast. So I called Harmony Electric.

Short version: A professional, prompt company that knows how to service customers and still charge less than their competitors. USE THEM!!

Long version: After the fiasco in the kitchen, I called a ""Name Brand"" here in Houston (who shall go nameless), and they told me that the earliest they could get someone out there was the following week. The following week? WTF??

I politely told them no thank you. Then I called Harmony based on all the reviews. (You guys are so good!)

Not only did the electrician make it out on the DAY I CALLED, but he was even a tad early! Wow.

He was very professional and polite. When I showed him the problem (and the replacement base that I bought at Lowe's), he told me that it was (a) an easy fix and (b) I didn't need the new base as he could reinstall my old one! WOW.

Needless to say, he got the job done in no time flat and even made suggestions as to how to save money on my electric bill with wattage usage. Bigger WOW.

As for the price - his was much lower than ""Name Brand"" quoted on the phone. Plus, he didn't charge a service fee! Now I'm REALLY impressed.

So, if you want a big or little job done with minimal headache, courteous service and a big savings for your wallet, Harmony Electric is the way to go. All these great reviews can't be wrong!

Let me start by saying I never give five stars. And I actually should deduct a star since the electrician was half an hour late and I had to call to see if they were still coming. But it was forgivable since he had a good reason for being late.

The electrician was very professional and managed to fix my mess with a smile. I've done contract work, so I know the game - take your time and run up the cost. This guy was fast - like he got right to work, came up with a novel solution to my problem, and had it installed much faster than I could have.

The price was way less than I expected to pay, and after all that, they gave me a mug. They are definitely getting repeat work from me!

They came out quickly and fixed the problem, they were very nice. They even changed out light bulbs and programmed the switch that automatically turns on our outside lights. We then had another issue with one of the things they worked on and they came out that day and fixed it without an additional charge. Will definitely use them again if we have any electric problems.

Saying ""I HIGHLY RECOMMEND"" this company is simply not enough. All other electric companies wanted to charge $2175.00 dollars to change out my breaker box and ""upgrade"" it to 125amp to keep it from tripping. Calvin pointed out that my breaker box is pulling 200amps so the other companies were lying, and showed me what was causing the breaker to trip every time I used my AC. HousePro installed my AC unit and deliberately used the wrong size wiring and fuses. Calvin fixed all of the problem areas created by HousePro for $298.58.
