One of our garage ceiling light fixtures failed two days ago and we were trying to figure out how to find a reliable electrician to fix our problem. We fortunately never had to require the services of an electrician so we were leery of whom we should contact. We decided to look through Yelp and tried contacting one of the best rated electricians in our local area. Unfortunately, we were told that their first available appointment was two weeks away. We then decided to contact Chad because he was also local and had great reviews as well. He was able to come by only two hours after we called him. He arrived a bit earlier than our appointment time, explained clearly what the repairs entailed, and fixed our light fixture quickly. We are glad that we found Chad and now have a reliable electrician that we can call upon for future jobs such as setting up an electric car charger, solar panel circuitry, or other electrical repairs.

I contacted Chad and the very next day he came out and gave me a very reasonable quote that I went with. Chad's work crew came out the next week and installed an outlet box for an outside light, an electrical outlet for outdoor string light and then strung the lights and also fixed an outlet that wasn't working. Chad made convenient and cost saving suggestions including a built in timer for the outdoor string lights that was a perfect idea. The workers were very professional and friendly and even moved a heavy box that UPS delivered to inside the house. I would without question use Chad and Hanseth Electric again.

I tried to turned on my family room lights the other day and nothing happened. Weird, because all the other rooms were working. I checked the usual suspects, the breaker box, the GFI outlets and everything looked good, so the problem was beyond my skill set. I called a couple of contractors but Hanseth was the only one that could come out today. The guys that Chad sent out were able to find and fix the problem in under an hour. It turns out that my space heater overwhelmed the system and an outlet needed replaced. I am a happy customer and I will be recommending them to my friends.

Hanseth Electric is as professional as they get. Chad and his team are extremely personable and no pressure. Chad himself comes out for the quote and listens to your needs and then makes any recommendations that may be a better option. Chad was the third quote that I had received for a major electrical upgrade to an apartment unit. His quote was very reasonable and asked for no money upfront. While Chad did not do any of the electrical upgrade, the two man team he sent was great and answered any questions that I had. There was one change that was made and his crew took care of it right away. I trusted these guys enough to leave them a set of keys for access. This project had two parts. The rough wiring and then the trim out. There was a good 4 to 5 weeks between the two and Chad checked in to see how the project was moving forward, still no request for money. When the trim out was complete - only 1 day, the two man crew cleaned up left the keys on the counter and locked the door behind them. The new lighting, ceiling fans and outlets look great and not a smudge of dirt or oil on any of it. I have dealt with a lot of electricians over the years and these guys are top of the line and highly recommend them.

The 220 circuit breaker for our kitchen oven had gone bad in our 60 year old house. It had been causing problems and wrong voltages for some time until the oven had finally died and a new oven was being ordered. That circuit breaker had to be replaced first and we were concerned what might be required because one electrician had told us that those breakers were no longer available due to the age of the house.

We called Chad to come out and look at it and he assured us he could get the part. Sure enough he did so and put it in for us and voila, the line now has the correct voltage!

Our new oven is installed and working great and Chad is now our electrician to call when any electrical problem arises. Thanks, Chad!

I'm a 74 year old retired fire captain who yearns for years past when workman and contractors could be trusted. I'm very skeptical. We came across Hanseth Electrical on the NextDoor network. Chad Hanseth and his crew removed my skepticism completely. They installed indoor and outdoor lighting, ran conduit, etc. Everything went quickly and smoothly not to mention they were reasonable. Courteous, professional, etc. I'm a little leery in recommending contractors, especially to close friends and relatives. That said, I would have no problem reommending Hanseth Electric to anyone.
