I found Hanseth Electric on Yelp after I called several companies when I needed to have the 100-amp electrical panel upgraded to a 200-amp at my home in Garden Grove. Lots of companies were glad to throw a number out over the telephone, but Chad, the owner of Hanseth Electric sent Evan out to take a look so he could give me an accurate estimate. Evan is knowledgeable, and both Chad and Evan were glad to answer all my questions. Chad gave me a very fair price and I chose them to upgrade the electrical panel. Evan and Jerry performed the work. These guys are the definition of Professional from start to finish!!

After the electrical panel upgrade, I used Hanseth Electric to install sconce lighting on each side of the garage, install electrical outlets on my patio and install an outdoor ceiling fan on my patio cover. Again, absolute professionals.

The most recent job, I had Hanseth Electric replace and add all new electrical outlets and lighting in our kitchen during a kitchen remodel, which also included new electrical for all the appliances. Chad also highly recommended under cabinet lighting and LED Can lights throughout the kitchen and living room, which we are extremely happy with. Evan and Jerry performed the work. Evan and Jerry helped us choose the best locations for the Can lights and outlets. Again, these guys went over and beyond to make sure the job was done right and that we were satisfied. As long as there is Hanseth Electric, I will not allow anybody else to touch the electrical in my house. Thank you Hanseth Electric!!!

Needed help troubleshooting a nagging electrical problem that affected my kitchen but originated in my service panel. Richard arrived on time and found the issue quickly. It turned out to be an Edison issue. Edison had to install new power feeders to our home.

Evan and Jerry were at my home yesterday - the third set of electricians to come to our home in the last two weeks to try to resolve the outlets that our wood flooring installer blew out before we moved into our new (well not so new) home. They were very patient and about an hour in told me they would stay another hour and if they didn't find the problem they wouldn't charge us, unless the past two electricians. Thankfully, they found the issue within 1.5 hours and I also had them change out an outlet. Would totally use them again and Chad is also great. They were my heroes for the day because it's a first world problem, but I was tired of having my blow dryer and electric toothbrush plugged into the outlet next to my workspace. Thanks again!

Came out and put my charger for my Tesla a few years back. Turned out the beaker that was placed was bad but the owner came over and replaced it right away. They warrant their work and will respond right away even a few years after their work. He also replaced other older breakers for $50 on the spot. Super convenient. I would recommend this company especially since they will come back to take care of anything. Even if it's not their fault. Good values.

Hanseth Electric is OUTSTANDING!!! We did a complete renovation of a 60 year old home that needed lots of electrical work to bring it up to speed! Got several estimates, but what made Chad's stand out was the detail...complete listing of every item discussed with pricing & prompt email quote.

Chad is honest...some electricians suggested complete rewiring, but he did a complete inspection & found the pigtails just needed to be hooked up so that saved $. He also made a lot of great suggestions including LED lights that would save $ in the long run. Pricing was fair considering the scope of work.

Getting permits during the pandemic was challenging, but Chad is patient & works well with the city/city inspectors...they are familiar with the quality of Hanseth Electric's work as a local business in Huntington Beach. Chad took the time to be personally available for inspections to immediately address any potential issues.

The list of of electrical services provided was extensive: upgraded main panel, lots of new can lights, retrofit old cans, 3 ceiling fans with lights hard wired with dimmer/fan control, wire up all outlets, added some new outlets inside & outside, new modern switches, new strip lights & outlets in garage, cable lines, smoke detectors, installed vanity light, automatic exhaust fans for 2 bathrooms, hooked up doorbell, installed outdoor lights, etc, etc.

Chad, Richard, Evan & Jerry made sure everything was not only safe, but made sense from a functional standpoint. They are polite & professional with an outstanding work ethic backed up with expertise to efficiently conquer any electrical issues. Their attention to detail/aesthetics was also impressive. Chad is licensed & they are familiar with all the codes so I was confident everything was done correctly. Also really appreciated their flexibility in working with inspections & other trades.

They had timely responses to phone calls. Was able to get a quote and schedule work for the next day. They arrived on the work site ready to go assessed the job and did it in a timely manner. Had some outlets installed in the garage and I was very happy with the clean job they did. They also swept and cleaned after the job was done! Highly recommend them. Professional and friendly.
