This is a company that has lost its way--if it ever knew its way. There are so many layers one has to go through to even schedule an appointment that it is dizzying. Then after the appointment is made, technicians show up unprepared to do the work and things are delayed further.

Example #1: I called, and then called again, and then called again to speak with someone who might be willing to accept my check for $14,000 to install a whole-house generator. I never received a return call.

Example #2: I scheduled a visit to do a very simple task; clean my air conditioning coils, a condition that had already been diagnosed. The technician was not prepared to do the work, and said that he would see that another visit was arranged for the next day. No one showed up the next day. I called--three times--to schedule the work, which was never confirmed. But the price estimate was: more than $600. I contacted a competing company and got the work scheduled immediately--for less than $125. This is the last electric company I will call for any future work.

I wish I would have done more research before hiring Hanson to install my parents generator. I went with Hanson because of the commercials and nothing else. The install was problematic from day one, just dealing with the permits and Ashley in the office. The power went out a week after the installation. The generator didn't turn on! spent the night in the dark. Hanson sent a guy out, he said it was a loose battery connection. The following week it failed the monthly test. Hanson sent another guy, this time they said It was a bad battery from the factory. I feel like once it's in the ground, you are kind of on your own when it comes to after care. Stay away at all cost.

What ever you do....don't call hansen electric now owned by air pros for your standby generator needs!! Incompetent is the phrase you should remember. When you have had to replace the battery every year due to a defective control panel, you can't seem to motivate the missing warranty guy to order the part.....every excuse in the book. At 1 point it was even suggested that we bought the wrong brand. Incorrect! We purchased the 1 Hansen electric recommended. So remember friends...Hansen electric sucks!!

All we can say is WOW! Top notch service for getting our generator installed. On time, professional, responsive, and just good people. All the guys from start to finish were awesome. I just had a home generator installed by Hansen Electric. This team of professionals has been great to work with. From Tim, who came out and explained how it works and what I would need, to Andrew and Adam who came out and finished installation. Tim even came out and helped with the installation. They kept me informed from day one. That's something you don't see with every company. Communication is key to an easy work relationship. Even the ladies in the scheduling department kept me informed. I will definitely use them again!

Had a appointment from 8am till 12 scheduled for them to come out and give a quote. They never showed or called. I called the girl at the front office to tell them they never showed and she said they were running behind. I understand things happen but no phone call or a sorry. I was going to rescheduled but the way the front office girl acted was just rude. I will not be using them IF YOU CANT SHOW UP FOR A QUOTE WHY WOULD I HIRE YOU?
