I see many good reviews about the work Brian does... I wouldn't know... never returned my calls. Texted me a response at 4:30 in the morning and when I replied that was the last I heard from him. Tried calling twice the next day ( leaving messages to call me back)... no response. I understand being busy... but no call.. unprofessional!

I decided to use Brian from Hansen Electric because of the reviews on yelp. So I thought it would be fair to write a review based on his work when completed. Brian returned all my calls. We also communicated through text. Since this is a vacation home he did a lot of work when we weren't there. He worked well with our contractor and got the work done on a timely basis. He works by the hour and his pricing is fair. He is very knowledge in his work and did everything we asked him to do. He was flexible on getting the work done since he had to work with a team of people on a total bathroom and kitchen remodel. He always came on time.

Brian did an awesome job on some smart switches and GFI's in my kitchen... Now with the smart switches, I can turn off the lights remotely if someone accidentally leaves with them on!

Got an estimate from Brian for a several small jobs at our vacation home in Big Bear Lake. He seemed knowledgeable and reasonably priced. When I made my decision to hire him, I called and left messages over 10 days asking when we could schedule the work and he never returned my phone calls.

I highly recommend Hansen Electric. I have used Hansen before and just had Brian install a new circuit and new outlets in my house. The price is very reasonable, he arrives on time, does the work quickly and neatly. Really great to work with and I will always call Hansen for all my electrical work.

YELP and Hansen electric are the best!! I call big bear electric to cut a branch that was hanging on my power line, only to get a call from them, telling me they are turning my POWER OFF!! due to Riser being unsafe!! OMG!! this is a weekend cabin, and im in Los Angeles.... I beg them to please wait so I can get someone to take care of this. I call Hansen Electric, on Thursday at 5 PM.. he says he'll be there in the morning. Low and be hold, I get a call from Brian at 9am!! says this isn't going to be too bad, has me fixed in no time!! at a REASONABLE price!! could of got me for a lot more as he knew I was desperate and in his hands completely! Not to often you find contractors with this kind of integrity on the mountain!
