I am not one to write negative reviews on businesses, but I am still taken back by the experience I had. I feel bad for writing this because the people seemed nice, but I also feel I have to put it out there because companies really should earn the business and referrals they get, and provide good customer service.
First of all, communication was poor. I called the office number, and spoke to a nice lady that took my information and said that the electrician would call me back that day. It was late morning, or mid-day at the time and did not get a call back until the next day. OK, I figured he must have got busy on a job that took longer than expected, so I let it pass. However, what I found was that after 4-5 pm, I never got acknowledgement of my calls. He began using text messages to communicate with me, which I'm happy for, but again, if it was later in the day, I would not get any responses, even though the screen indicated messages were ""read.""
We made an appt for 9 am on a Thursday. I was helping my kids get ready for school and thankfully, my wife was there to take them. I had planned some things to do and then take a shower before the appt, but the electricians showed up about a half hour early, as I was actually heading out for an errand. No problem, I would rather someone be early than late, so I let them in.
They start the diagnostics, and all seems great, but then we get to a point where we need to pull the oven out to take a look at the outlet/wiring behind it. He ""doesn't feel comfortable"" taking the oven out and wants his ""appliance guy"" to come help. They leave, saying they will go to another job, and ""be back"" later today. So I wait, and wait....nothing. No call, no text, nothing. I called and left a message.
It's not until Friday early morning that I get a text saying he can come and ""take care of the problem"" on Wednesday (5 whole days later). I confirm the 9 am start time. At 9:35 PM, only ELEVEN AND A HALF HOURS before the appointment he texts me that he is meeting an inspector in the morning and ""once he goest through everything we will come up your way."" I ask for an estimate of time, and he replies he has to talk to the inspector at 7:30 and then will know more then. 10:45 AM and no word from him. I text him to ask if he has an estimated time of arrival. At that time he states the inspector will there by 12, and ""I'll keep you posted."" At 1:24 PM I still haven't heard so I text him and he states he's just waiting on his appliance guy. 3:45, still nothing and I text him. No time yet. 5:00pm and I ask for a status. No reply. The next day, no word from him. I text him around 11AM asking if he just doesn't want the job. He gives me an excuse about the other guy and says he's busy until the NEXT WEEK! I had told him I had taken time off of work to get the job taken care of, and that I had to go back to work. Giving him yet ANOTHER chance, I tell him the only day I have the next week is Friday because I'm working out of town. I ask if he can make arrangements to be sure he can make it that day. That was 26 days ago. I'm still waiting to hear back....
I don't need to summarize where the bad rating comes from, lack of communication, lack of dedication to the job, lack of commitment to appointments, and plain ole customer service. Again, I am still in shock because they seemed like nice people, and their website portrays a local business with punctual service and good customer service.. I feel I have to put this out there to give people a heads up.

Lost power to my lights and outlets in half the house, call Brent Hannon the owner; he and another electrician came out immediately, they did some troubleshooting on this old house and figured out the issues and fixed it that day. The price was great and the service was even better.
