Robert definitely knows his stuff! I hired him to do a few small items around a condo I was getting ready for a new tenant: adjusting closet and shower doors, securing a dishwasher, reattaching a remote control holder to the wall and recaulking around the floor of a shower. He was thorough and professional, asking me to come and inspect each item for satisfaction after completion. My only issue, thus the loss of 1 star, was the price. He quoted me $295 and I was in a position of either accepting that or driving back out the 2-hours round trip on another day to hire a different handyman. So I hired him. It took him 2 1/2 hours to complete everything, which computes to $120/hour. I have a wonderful handyman at home that charges me $75/hour (but won't drive out to Oxnard), so I really felt taken advantage of and was prepared to make this a 3 star review. But after researching a bit further, it appears the most professional and capable handymen can command up to $100/hour. Wow!! So I was off a bit but still feel that his price was too high. Thus, I'm compromising with a 4 star review. I know he may not have known exactly how long everything would take him when he quoted me, but he certainly could have adjusted the cost a bit if he felt like he was overcharging when all was said and done. So bottom line: I love his work but am less crazy about his price.

Robert is amazing!! Super nice and so professional. The work he did was great, and so precise. Cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely call him again. It's so nice to deal with someone who knows what he's doing. And honest!

In all honesty I feel I was ripped off or taken advantage of.. a handyman should be less expensive than a professional. $160 to replace a light switch and $140 to replace a thermostat is pricey for a handyman. Also removed some wiring and it's still not done because he wanted to charge more to look into an outlet and tried to leave with one of my cables.$400 and Work is still not done. Just my honest review.

Hired Robert to fix my master bedroom door and a sliding glass door that leads to my porch. Ended up asking him to install a key hanger as well. His prices are reasonable compared to other handymen that I have asked for quotes through yelp. He also taught me some pointers on preventative maintenance as well. He is my go-to handyman.

Robert was great. I used his website to view his availability and it showed him as available that afternoon. I clicked on a time to book him for a free estimate and he showed up right on time.

It was a small job, cutting a junction box into the ceiling and hanging a lamp and Robert was able to do it the same day. He was very neat and professional, and did an excellent job for us. I'm keeping his card for the next time I need anything done around the house.
