If I could give less than 1 star i would. My kitchen insinkerator broke and i called ferdy. Quoted me $100 for machine part and $100 for labor. I said OK and he went out to get the part. In the mean time i checked online. Same machine (as i have right now) is available for $75 at the home depot. I called him and very politely let him know that is was available for cheaper at home depot and asked he also carry the receipt. Guy blew up on me. Said he had ALREADY told me it was going to cost $200 and he was now not going to come back to my house. I tried to reason and ask him to just carry the receipt but the guy would not listen and was threatening to not come and do the job. I told him not to come. He might be having a bad day but what the F? No way to talk to customers. Would not recommend anybody to use such an unprofessional person.

We recently purchased a new house in Fremont, and had a laundry list of improvements that we wanted to make before moving in. Originally, we just hired Ferdy for a few small jobs; however, when we mentioned to him that we wanted to do some electrical work and paint the interior, he offered to give us estimates on both jobs. His quotes came back lower than the other contractors that we talked to, so we ended up hiring him to do all of the work. Ferdy is very honest and straightforward; he gave us a realistic timeline (and stuck to it), and communicated with us throughout all the work. He and all of his guys were professional and courteous, and it was a pleasure to work with him. Highly recommended!

I drove half hour to the property to wait for them for the appointment because I really need someone to help me to set up the stove. Sorry. they did not show up on the appointment. Call three times and left messages but did not get call back. Need to treat customers better.

Called to get a quote. The guy on the phone's question was, ""So you want the cheapest quote for your job?"" I said, ""I suppose so."" So he says ""Yeah, cheap and lousy. Thank you for your time, and puts the phone down."" Did I catch him at a bad day or something?

I agree with all the things people have been saying about Ferdy's work. He set up an appointment within two days, came out after a job and was done fixing the problem within an hour. And very fair prices.

My house had an electrical problem where 2 of the rooms did not have electricity, all of a sudden. I checked the fuse box and did not see anything abnormal. I reset the fuse and still did not fix the problem.

I called a contractor and he wanted $250.00 to come and troubleshoot and fix the problem.. I called Fredy and he said it should be about $80.00 to troubleshoot and fix if no parts are required. Fredy came the next day and he found the problem within 30mins. He needed to go buy parts and said to do the repair would be about $140.00 total with parts and labor. It is still cheaper than my first contractor quotation.

He bought the parts and did the repair quickly and we are done. Lights are back on for the whole house.

Fredy is efficient and is good with his work. I will use him again in the future.

Ferdy is great. We had an emergency and he came out on Superbowl Sunday and took care of it. He is prompt, came on time as promised and took care of the issue the same day. Reasonable rates. I will use him on more projects.

My husband and I interviewed many contractors to work on our home back in 2006 and had the great fortune of coming across Ferdy. He is friendly, professional, punctual, thorough and HONEST! He helped us with painting, electrical work, remodeling...and helped turn our house into the home we now love. Furthermore, if there was ever anything he did not feel 100% confident in doing, he would tell us! It was also a huge plus to have someone working in our home that we felt comfortable enough with to leave for work and to also know he would clean up after himself at the end of the day.
