Company Overview
From a young age, my father instilled in me the importance of doing a job correctly the first time, ensuring there’s no need for a repeat; we promise that if any issues arise with our repairs, we’ll return and resolve them at no cost. He’s a Vietnam veteran with an unyielding spirit; even at 75, he’s as active as ever! I’m not sure if it’s a generational trait, but he has a knack for fixing anything. With his retirement last year, I’ve taken the reins of the business, using the knowledge he shared. My name is Daulton, and I just graduated from UCLA; I’ve been learning the ropes of handyman work from my dad since I was little.
Growing up, my dad taught me to be proactive with home repairs. As life would have it, I went to UCLA, he retired, and I came back home, which inspired the creation of our business. After collaborating for a few years, he retired, and I now lead the business. It’s a fantastic opportunity to serve our community, help each other, and sustain ourselves.
I’m a proud grandfather, veteran, husband, and have called Mira Loma home for 36 years. I’ve witnessed significant changes over the years and have engaged in many endeavors. My previous profession involved driving nine-axle big rigs, a skill I acquired in Vietnam, where I received a Purple Heart after two tours. Since childhood, I’ve enjoyed tinkering with various things. I remember rebuilding my first carburetor at just 12 years old. Being a DIY person, I’ve learned a great deal from the many projects I’ve tackled throughout my life. I wanted my children to be skilled with their hands, so I taught them how to install sinks, remodel bathrooms, and fix cars from a young age. I take pride in my son Daulton for creating this wonderful idea to leverage our skills to help the community we love and deepen our father-son relationship.
