Handylectric was very helpful in connecting new outlets and switches in my half bathroom, as well as diagnosing a weird wiring situation on my breaker panel. I noticed the problem on Saturday and it was fixed by Monday at lunch time due to their great response time.

I normally handle minor electrical stuff like switch and fixture changes myself, but during a DIY remodel I couldn't get the breaker to fully cut power. The minute I got zapped by a still-live wire, I decided to call in the pro's. Turns out that one room's wiring is split across two breakers.

They advised me that they could do the extra work at the panel but it wasn't totally necessary from a safety perspective. I appreciated their quick work and candid explanation of what was worth my money. I will not hesitate to call them for future projects.

Jeremy and Luis were awesome! They replied to my texts and showed up within the time frame they gave. We had them over to diagnose and fix some dead lights. The wiring in our house is chaos, but they worked quickly and got them working in a reasonable time.
We were so happy with their work we asked them to come back a couple days later and give us estimates for some other repairs and new fixtures. That morning, Jeremy texted well in advance to let us know he would be a bit late, and texted his ETA when he was certain of the time; he arrived at the given ETA. (This seems like a basic thing but most other contractors we've worked with showed up late with no notice.)
Part of the estimate was to fix a closet light. To give the estimate he needed to take down the fixture. Because it was a simple fix, he ended up making the repair at no charge!
He told us how he figures the pricing on the other things, so I have a good sense of what other similar tasks might cost. This transparency and openness increased my level of trust.
They were always friendly, and showed up wearing masks due to COVID and kept them on at all times.
We'll definitely be using them for any and all future electrical needs at our house.

We had lights and a bathroom fan that had to be installed in various parts of the house. Jeremy and the team were very responsive in scheduling the appointment. They were consistently up-front with pricing throughout the entire process, and they were extremely helpful in consultation during the entire project. Despite a small hiccup of them coming late two days in a row and leaving more dust than was expected in between the days, we will definitely be using them again as Jeremy is running a great company and we trust their work. Would definitely recommend!

I'm extremely happy I was able to find a locally owned company right in my neighborhood. These guys are fantastic and prices are very reasonable. Electrical work is very technical and you need licensed contractors doing the job. Before I hired HandyLectric, I got another estimate from an electrician who told me I didn't need to permit any of the work I wanted to do. That really bugged me and felt super ""shady"" since electrical work is no joke to mess with. So, I decided to fully upgrade my old, out of date electrical panel to a 200 amp panel and wiring with HandyLectric.

Jeremy, the owner, will guide you thru the initial steps of how to get a meter spot with the city, applying for the permit, etc etc. Jeremy, Keagan and staff are very focused and work very hard to get the job done quickly but ""done to code."" They will also meet with the electrical inspector to make sure everything goes smoothly and passes inspection. Now, I'm ready to use them again to install recessed lighting in the house. I feel safe that I completely have enough electrical power that's done right to put new lighting in the house. They even thought ahead and added spare wires to the additional circuits I had them install because I will add another freezer and wine refrigerator for downstairs. Those appliances all need their own circuits and there was absolutely no way my old panel would handle that load. Now I don't have to go outside in the morning to flip the breaker when my toaster, coffeemaker and microwave are on at the same time.

Btw, they all wear masks and are very clean with anything they have to do inside the house. Thanks much guys for all your work!

Jeremy was super prompt in returning my request, came out for a free consolation, and then finished all the work later that afternoon. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing electrical service, and I will definitely go back to them in the future. Not to mention, they are a local, family owned business.
