The dimmer on our kitchen lights blew out on a Sunday evening during quarantine. We called HandyLectric and the owner picked up and even arranged for someone to come out the very next day. We were very hopeful. Two of their guys showed up on time, were pleasant and professional and since they didn't have the exact dimmer on their truck we ordered it online. They hooked up an on/off switch for us to use until our new one arrived. They spent roughly 40 minutes at our house and presented us a check for $300! They did say it would include their follow up to install the dimmer after I gasped. Still, I suggest you get a quote if you can up front and know they have a two hour minimum. They did come to install the new dimmer a few days later but that blew within the week. They came back to see why the new dimmer blew and told us we had too many watts of bulbs on our system so we finally called our old electrician who is usually too busy with commercial projects but since most businesses are closed right now he came over a few hours later. He told us exactly how to fix the high wattag (by replacing a few bulbs with LEDs), installed another new dimmer and charged us $40 total.

These electricians were excellent. They answered our phone call right away, truly asked several questions in order to get the right idea about what was going on, and we set up an appointment for the following day. We had to change the time and they were very accommodating and PUNCTUAL. They arrived right when they said they would. Their prices were reasonable and they took the time to explain what was going on. They did their best to work with our very old wiring. In the future, we are going to have to replace our wiring and we will 100% be calling them to do the job. I especially appreciated the fact that they took the time to talk to us about what they were doing and why and did so in lingo we could understand. Call these guys if you have an electrical problem, hands down.

These guys are great, friendly, knowledgable and fair. Norberto showed up and was on it. We were looking at an entirely new panel but he spent a bit more time troubleshooting and found a better and much more cost effective resolution.. I'd give them a call without hesitation.

HandyLectric provided excellent service for installing a new 50 amp circuit for my EV charger. They came on time, were well prepared and did everything to code. I met Jeremy, the owner of HandyLectric, when he came to my garage sale. He was funny & a good storyteller. Typically, I do not hire my contractors on the basis of their jokes, but I needed an electrician.

To make a long story short, Jeremy is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with!

I have two very old houses that need tons of maintenance. As a result I have worked with every single person on Jeremy's crew. To a person they are all incredibly diligent & careful electricians who prioritize customer safety.

Jeremy & his crew are also really nice people. Extra special shout outs to Jeremy Jr. who came over to my house on CHRISTMAS EVE to fix the power line to the koi pond pump so all our fish wouldn't die, & to Bryant who had to work extra hard to upgrade my house from a 99 year old death trap to a home that had wiring to support modern conveniences like air conditioning & solar panels.
