I HIGHLY recommend Bill! He is punctual, safe (wore a mask when interacting with me), clean (left my garage cleaner than when he started working in it), and great at communicating (he even sends texts to confirm everything discussed in phone calls). He worked an 8.5 hour day without stopping for a bathroom break or lunch! His prices are fair, and I actually appreciated that he quoted me a little bit higher price but came in a couple hundred dollars under budget. We hired Bill to build storage above our garage ceiling beams, to install a light up there, an electrical outlet below for a fan in the garage (to be installed later), and to install a pull-down ladder so we can easily access the storage. He completed the whole project in 1.5 days. We will definitely hire him in the future, and I'm giving his name out to anyone who asks as someone I highly recommend.

I found this handyman company on Yelp and chose to use Handy Craftsman due to the 5-star ratings. The ratings and reviews certainly help to choose wisely and I thank those before me who provided such excellent reviews! Now let's focus on Bill Bastian! We found him to be honest, punctual, fair in pricing, and producing quality work. We needed him for smaller projects that we put off forever: lighting/electrical repairs, exhaust fan replacement, door re-hanging and front door repairs that included threshold and weatherstripping. We were really pleased with his work and appreciated that he did it while he remained masked the whole time (thanks for being mindful of Covid guidelines, Bill!). We will definitely be using him again. He's going to build us a new fireplace mantel and we can't wait! Besides all of this, I can say that Bill is just a cool dude!

Bill did an excellent job installing cabinet door knobs on my new cabinets. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and the placement was perfect and really added that finished look to the cabinets. He replied right away and was able to complete the job the next day in a timely manner. If I need any additional items completed, I'll give Bill a call.

Bill was absolutely amazing!! I am so happy we found him. My family runs a small home bakery business and we were in desperate need to repair a number of drawers in the kitchen plus other work that needed fixing around the house. We had been waiting for the appointment day like it was Christmas :) and Bill was truly a gift!
Great communication from the very beginning, he arrived early, wore a mask, and got working right away! Very professional, skilled and quite honestly an amazing, charismatic person we loved chatting with. No need to look elsewhere, we'll be calling him again soon!

Bill was amazing. He worked very fast and at a high level of effort. He did a great job and helped me to understand what needed to be done so I could be working side by side. He also wore a mask and social distanced when I was around which was almost the entire time. He had all the tools I did not have including power nail gun, large saws, large level, etc... In two five hour periods we put in garage attic flooring, new garage attic stairs and a lift elevator to bring boxes up and down without having to carry them on the stairs. The directions were translations from German and not easy to understand, but together we got the job done. Bill showed up on time and took almost zero breaks! I recommend Bill and will use him again. I rarely review anyone but this time someone stood out and deserves the review.

Bill did quite a few things, new electric outlets, hung TV's on wall, fixed some sink issues and installed a ceiling fan. Bill was responsive, on time and everything was done very professionally. He knows what he is doing and he cares to get things done right!

Like Joe's comment below I had a terrible and costly experience. Bill completely ruined $6,000 worth of cabinets. My movers unscrewed wardrobe cabinets, made by CA Closets, and moved them from one room to another room and were in perfect shape for months. I figured they should be screwed to the wall so I called Bill. He brought an assistant and did not tell her the cabinets were not screwed to the wall. She moved the cabinet, it came crashing down and broke in half. CA Closets could not fix them because they discontinued the color. $6,000 down the drain thanks to Bill.
