I have to give Tony a single star. So bummed. I spoke with Tony on a Friday, went over the work I needed to get done. He said it would be no problem and we agreed that he would be available the following Wednesday and he would work up a quote over the weekend and get back to me on Monday. That never happened, Monday evening I texted him. His reply said he would call me back later in the evening, that never happened. I thought I would give Tony one more try and sent him another text message Tuesday. At that time I was told he was too busy to do the work we agreed on. He just left me hanging. It would've been more appropriate for him to tell be at the get-go that he would not be able to do it. So I could schedule someone else.

Working with Tony was very easy. We scheduled a day/time and he showed up right on time. He installed a pull up bar in a doorway that did not have a door frame and was able to get both sides secure into the studs. It was quick and he also showed me pics of some other work that he has done in the past. Seems like I found a great handyman and it looks like he does a lot of major renovation work too. Definitely recommend his work.

Great service, finished on schedule,on price quote, had two upstairs bathroom flooring replaced one of the bathrooms had leak to first floor ceiling ,he knew exactly what was needed to repair . highly recommend

Tony is extremely knowledgeable on all sort of repairs. He helped us fixed the planter from outside that leaked water into the house and destroyed our carpet. He is very professional and thorough. He finished the job quickly and I never had to worry about it.

I will definitely call him if I need any work done in the future.

Throughout my dealings with Tony, there are many things that just seem sketchy. Things can be said one moment and changed to the next. Without going into the details for each of them which can be debatable I just want to point out a few facts.

He has not provided me with:
- Receipts of the entire work via invoice updated with an additional $40 last minute on the lightbulb from his firm VMS
- Receipts of items purchased for the work (lightbulbs, ballast, as well as the paint)
- No contactor license provided, charged beyond basic handyman premise on the maximum a handyman can charge which is a total of $500

E-mails are so easy these days, he refuses to e-mail me receipts which he claims he had. At the end of the day, resending an e-mail is like pulling a tooth out of him...simply crazy...and quite frankly besides tax evasion I really can't figure out in the life of me as to why he wouldn't do so?

He accepts only cash/checks, no credit card. His name is not Andy but Tony as his business stated and the checks aren't written to Handy Andy OC or himself either but to some firm named ""VMS"". Sketchy from the form of payment, the legitamacy of the company or the owner himself?

Indeed, I think you get the idea...

If you are thinking of using him on jobs, just think twice and check his license and use all transactions through credit cards. I made a mistake by not doing so and it paid me dearly in this case.

I called Tony yesterday asking about trimming the cabinet frame surrounding our new fridge. He was nice and professional and told me he can pass by our house to check the needed work personally since he was in the area. Today he called and said he can come by. I thought he was just going to check and come back but he did the work right there and then. Very professional work ethic. I will surely call on Tony again if I need handyman services. Tony is a hard working guy. I called him at 2pm, busy with one project, and he said by 5pm he should be ready for my appointment. And at 5pm, he showed up. He worked very hard to get the job done and charged me very reasonable. If you have any need of handyman he is the one you can count on.
