I've had a love for construction since I was young. It all began at age 8 when I constructed a three-story clubhouse in my grandparents' yard. Whether it was the thrill of success or the attention from neighborhood kids wanting to join my club (with a secret password, of course), I’ve been perfecting my craft for three decades. During the summers, I worked as a laborer for my dad, who had a construction company. I absorbed everything from the skilled tradesmen I observed. At 12, I began taking on small jobs in our neighborhood. My neighbors were astonished by my commitment and the excellence of my work. When I turned 14, my mother got me a membership at the Greenville Wood Workers Guild to keep me focused. I learned the value of detail from the craftsmen at the guild. I started as an electrician's helper and worked my way up to lead electrician for six years before being recruited as a jack of all trades for a general contractor. Now...
