Excellent. Josh did some electrical re-wiring work at our house for our EV. He was really a pleasure to deal with and his work was first class and priced reasonably. There was some follow up required and Josh was super responsive and followed up himself in person. I deal with a lot of contractors and Josh was the ultimate professional. I had 2 bathroom fans that needed replacing. The first quote from a place I contacted Jan 3 was $450, provided I purchased both fans (I did) but the work wouldn't be done until Feb 14.

Joshua @ Hamblin said he could do for $500 as long as I purchased all the parts (the quote was given in a yelp message and via text) and would be done by Jan 28. I opted for Joshua.

Hamblin changed out the first fan then were stumped by the second; they had never seen an exhaust fan like mine. They took the fan with them so I had this hole in my ceiling without the option of trying to purchase a replica. They wandered off and I couldn't reach them for about 3 weeks.

They came back out on Feb 24 and installed the second fan. It all worked.

The bill I was sent: $1100. That's over a 100% increase from both initial quotes. There was no prior conversation about a change in the cost estimate for the work, and I have no way to partially pay the bill.

The other electrician was going to charge me less than the $450 but I didn't want to wait too long. Hamblin not only charged me much more, but took even longer than the $450 quote.

I'd be extremely cautious working with these guys. They're new (didn't know how to change out one fan) and had follow-up/communication issues.

We needed a new circuit breaker box to replace a 50years old box.
This required bringing our townhome up to code in where the new box is located (not in a closet) so I contacted Hamblin Electric via Angie.
I am very impressed with the quality of the work, the professionalism of Joshua Hamblin and his team of electricians. I am going to have more projects for them to work on in my home.

Josh and his team are absolutely amazing! Over the past few months, I've worked with Hamblin Electric on a variety of projects from landscape and interior recessed lighting to smart camera installations. For every project, they have been punctual, efficient, thorough, clean and 100% focused on my happiness with the finished product. They check all the boxes for a company you'd want to work with.

You're probably thinking, this all sounds great but they must be super expensive then?! No, in fact their quotes were always right in line with other companies. So choosing them is an absolute no brainer for any electrical job you can think of.

I want to give a special shout out to Peter, who is the primary electrician we worked with for our project. Peter was exceptional to deal with. Between him and Josh, I felt completely confident that the work would be completed properly and in a timely manner, which it was. I'm glad to have found a company I can rely on for electrical work moving forward. After working with several different electricians over the years, I can confidently say Hamblin Electric is the best, hands down!

After multiple bids I went with Hamblin Electric. I need Tesla wall charger installed and keep getting quotes for unnecessary expensive upgrades of my house's electrical system. We recently had Hamblin Electric help us with installing a 240 v outlet for Level 2 charging, pull wiring to install a flood light above our garage door, and install two outdoor outlets. They completed their work very quickly and everything works flawlessly!

Josh is an amazing electrician, having both wired my entire new home as well as completed a bunch of ad hoc projects for me. In the day and age where it is hard to get returned phone calls, Josh is incredibly responsive and always finds a way to fit me in, even though he is clearly very busy.
