Hall's installed a back-up generator at my home in the Lake Tahoe area. From start to finish they were great. After initial contact they quickly provided quotes and options.
Next came formal bid with drawings. Job was then scheduled to my needs. They're installation crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in both appearance and performance. Job was completed in a day and I was included in all decision making with regard to generator placement and routing of utilities. Hall's is efficient and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Mike and his crew literally saved the food bank. We had someone working on our grant project and they went out of business, Halls stepped right in, didn't overcharge anything and completed the job as quickly as could be done. We had a couple of relatively minor electrical problems in our home near Ione, CA. After attempting to contact an electrician we had used in the past and giving up after they did not get back to us, I found Halls doing an internet search. I contacted Halls by email and they responded the next day. One day later they called and said they would be out the next. They weren't on time; they were EARLY. Our tech got right to work and had the first problem solved right away. After some finagling with the wiring on our floodlight system, he got that back up and running within an hour and reinstalled our lights. I think the price they charged was fair and the work is guaranteed.

If Mike gives you a price, that's the price you pay, there are no ""additional unexpected charges."" Michael Hall is everything you look for in a contractor. He has extensive knowledge and years of experience in electrical work. He did a FANTASTIC job with a service upgrade and added lighting for me. His rate was super reasonable and service was prompt. He's also hilarious and seems like an all around great guy.
