Wesley did a fantastic job upgrading our power panel. Best part- as he was configuring the quote, we kept tacking on sidejobs and he never batted an eye. We even had to do a job-split because of another gig that was going on and he scheduled the split-job no problem.
He was on time, the quoted price was what we paid and I can't recommend him enough.

Wesley is a true professional. He has done 2 jobs for us, the first to install/upgrade our house electrical service from the street along with some cleaning up of the circuits and wiring.

The 2nd was to install a dedicated hot tub circuit and breaker and connect the hot tub to 240.

Wesley was always extremely responsive, on time and professional. He also took care of the permits and was on top of everything, coming with the supplies he needed and working efficiently. To top it off, 6 months after installing the breaker, it failed (manufacturers defect) and Wesley came out the very next day to fix it under warranty which was amazing. Can't recommend enough as I find it rare to find such reliable, skilled folks these days.

Wesley has done two separate jobs for me, both times he's been on time, worked quickly, communicated well and got along with my dog. He's a hard working small business owner that is easy to work with. I would definitely contact Halihan Electric again if I needed more work done.

I used Halihan in 2017. I moved into a new manufactured home and even though it was under warranty, they sent three different electricians to fix the many problems, and none of them were able to fix them. Thank goodness someone recommended Halihan. He fixed everything and it still works. His prices were reasonable and he was always on time with us. He probably saved our lives as the house might have burned down with the bad wiring the house came with.

If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. This guy, Leslie Halihan, decides to pull a no-show and not even call a potential customer to give them advance notice. I had to call him at our prearranged appointment time to find out if he was coming. I took time off of work to meet with him. Very unprofessional.

When I called at the time of our appointment, he told me some sob story of how he wasn't going to do any work from a particular referral, ""Michael with Small Job's are us"". I tried to explain to him I didn't know the guy. I explained that I found Michael in my complex monthly newsletter. I told him I had no relations with Michael. He just referred me to Halihan Electric for an ""electrical job"".

I understand a contractor can decide not to do a job at a whim, but a good business person communicates so said potential client can find another contractor.

I'm really upset by this and at Leslie for not following through with his decision. I waited two weeks from our original conversation for the appointment. I could have spent that time finding a different contractor. yes, I probably should have anyway.

Should have written this review a couple of years ago. We have had Halihan Electric help us with several small jobs at our home and Wesley hit the ball out of the park on each occasion. Personable, professional, and a skilled electrician, he is a joy to deal with. Competitively priced too.

I needed to have my electrical panel replaced. Wesley came out within 24 hours of my phone call and gave me a complete and comprehensive bid. He showed up on the appointed day and performed the work right on time. I was very happy with the installation. A positive experience all around.

My husband and I just bought a new home and needed 4 ceiling fans installed, so I came to Yelp to look for an electrician. Of all the messages I sent out, Wesley was the one who responded right away and his prices are very reasonable. He is responsive, courteous and professional. During the installation, we realized that 3 of the ceiling fans remote control wouldn't work properly with our wall switches. Wesley thought of a solution right away and drove to Lowes to get us the fan speed dimmer switch, so we could change the fan speeds without using the remote. We would definitely hire Wesley again and recommend him to anyone who is looking for an electrician!

Wesley is fantastic! He quickly made time in his schedule to come out and give an estimate on an electrical issue at my home. He was actually able to find the problem and fix it on the spot. Wesley was professional, easy to communicate with, on time, and put on shoe covering booties before he came in my house! We will definitely be hiring him for some additional work soon.
