Personable and Professional! Contacted Forrest at Hale Kai regarding replacing a lighting fixture in the garage and a fan switch in a bathroom. Since it appeared to be a quick job, he actually inquired if there was additional electrical work I needed to get full value from the service call. Unheard of these days, but very welcome news for my wallet!

This company has a genuine concern for the customer by ensuring you're not paying more than you have to, timely updates and a very meticulous approach to completing each task. When the job is done, they take the time to restore the work areas to their original condition.

With a few minutes to spare, Forrest and Kethan (hope I got the name right) brought new life to a floor lamp I thought was beyond resuscitation. Totally appreciated this unexpected gesture which goes far and beyond customer service.

I recently sent a request to Yelp for some help replacing rusted conduit that was located outside the house. I had several great responses from electrical companies and decided to go with Hale Kai Electric owned by Forrest K. He arrived right on time and was very cordial and friendly. He gave me a fair estimate so I had him and his coworker Ben (or was it Dan?) do the work. They worked really fast and even replaced some of the wiring and connectors because Forrest said they looked weathered and needed to be changed out at no extra cost. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use the in the future. The homeowner will be greatly satisfied when he returns and sees everything repaired and looking great.

Forrest and Dan did an excellent job installing seven ceiling fans in our Kanoehe home. This was a big job with 20 foot cathedral ceilings. They worked efficiently and had to do a lot of trouble shooting with the electrical wiring in our old home. They are very smart! I had them come back out again to install a light fixture. Again, very pleased with the quality of their work. They go above and beyond to get things right and make sure you are satisfied. Reliable, clear communication, highly recommend. If you need a good electrician and you have no idea where to start, you HAVE to call Forrest at Hale Kai! He responded within minutes to my text and we set up an appointment that day. Even though they were in Ewa, they drove to Nalo no issues. He is so positive and was able immediately assess the issue and him and his co-worker went to work. Long story short, he fixed the breaker issue we had that was connected to our living room and bedroom.

Forrest was so proactive and positive. It helped ease my anxiety that the issue would be worse. They got everything squared away in time for us to enjoy our son's birthday

Needed someone to install a Ring doorbell and replace two Ring floodlights...

The original guy that installed the floodlights was too busy for the job. Texted a couple of electricians with high ratings on Yelp - one guy said ""We don't do Ring"" ?

Texted Hale Kai Electric and got a response from Forrest right away. Within days, him and Dan came out, installed all of my Ring devices AND was able to install LED replacements for my ancient fluorescent ballasts.

Nice guys, good work, reasonable price - highly recommend.

Contacted Hale Kai and was initially concerned about their travel time, since they are based in Hauula, but their owner, Forest Yard said not an issue since they do work all acrosss Oahu. They were prompt, easy to work with for some routine repairs and completed the tasks promptly. Their rate is also very reasonable and licensed as electricians.
