I am very pleased with the professionalism and work that Hagen Electric did for us. Our project consisted of installing 2 smart switches in our living room with corresponding outlets/junction boxes on the exterior to control a high lumen security light fixture and outdoor bistro lights. They also installed new dimmable LED lights (12 total) in the ceiling of four rooms. Previously the light switches just controlled outlets. This job had some logistical complexity due to having to work right where the roof connects to the top of the wall. Two of the other companies that bid on this project were not sure they would be able to do the job the way that I was asking. Zach and his crew had no concerns or problems with the challenge. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

I requested an in-person quote from this company. Zach arrived on time, which made me think that things will go great. Man was I so wrong.

His prices for replacing an old breaker with a DFCI one, installing a new receptacle circuit in my closet for all my networking devices, and adding another outdoor motion light in my backyard are ridiculously expensive. Like I'm not getting a quote for a panel replacement or a room rewire. His quote for replacing a breaker was very reasonable (around $100) but the other projects made no sense, like around $1200 for installing a new circuit with three receptacles in my closet. So it totalled to over $2000 which is neither reasonable nor affordable for me.

I asked him how much it would be without replacing an old breaker, just the new circuit and outside light. Don't remember what the new price was, but still way too high for me. So then I asked how much for just the new circuit only. He said $1200 or $1000 for only one receptacle. I don't know why I agreed to that. I'm glad I got a lower quote from Vitality Electric, and canceled the appointment from this company.

I only showed him my panel and where I want the new outdoor light to be. I did not bring him inside my house to show my closet. If I did, then I may have received a better quote. He told me that he charges extra for going inside an attic, which is completely strange to hear from a professional, especially an electrician, so I ended up not showing him my closet.

I honestly don't understand how most people who reviewed this company on this website say they are cheaper than other pros or have reasonable prices. That's far from the truth during my contact with them.

Hagan Electric is superb! Great job on my Tesla charger installation. Zach graciously adjusted my scheduled appointment because I had to bring my daughter to the doctor. This is the kind of customer service we appreciate. He found our breaker was mislabeled and he fixed it. We will be calling you again Zach for our other electrical needs.
