Lost power to half the house this morning. I called Hagan and they were able to get someone out here within the hour. The two guys who came were most polite and friendly. They got right to work. While they were working, they smelled a gas leak. Had they not alerted me to it I would not have smelled it or known it was there. I was able to call PG&E to come fix the leak while they were taking care of the electrical problems.

They showed me the problem and fixed the breaker that was not working, but also gave me an estimate to have the panel replaced, which is what needs to be done. I would absolutely recommend them.

Hagan electric came in right before Christmas to replace my panel. We didn't think we would have power back to our house before Christmas but they got it taken care of so quickly and a decent price for all the work. I 100% recommend.

Update. So the owner Zach saw my yelp review. He called me yesterday around 2pm and left a message saying he wanted to apologize and make it right and to call him back. I did not call back. An hour and a half later his employee shows up at my house unannounced to pick up his drill. He knocked and rang my doorbell multiple times. I did not answer. It was clear he was not going to leave. He would walk down the driveway and come back and knock some more. His coworker texted me to let me know he was here to pick up his drill (because I wasn't answering the door). It is rude and unprofessional that he showed up unannounced and would not leave when I didn't answer the door. He was here for 10 minutes! With no sign of leaving. I saw he was still at my house in his car so I put the drill on the porch. He got the drill and then he finally left. How do you go from ignoring texts and messages to just showing up unannounced? No one asked if I was home or available or what a good time would be. I don't know if this is the owner's idea of ""making it right"", but for me it made it worse.

Hagan Electric recently completed a $10K panel upgrade, kitchen outlet upgrade and subpanel removal project at our home that spanned over 4 months. During this time there was extensive work completed, return visits, reassessments, and additional items that needed to be taken care of on top of the actual base job itself. Through it all Zach, Israel and the rest of the team did a phenomenal job. All of them are very skilled and professional. There was lots of communication and VERY detailed and explanatory quotes (which I love!!) Zach explained the mechanics of having an older home with older wiring, and how that causes the issues we were having. I really appreciate being able to understand a bit about a trade I know very little of. They took their time to ensure that our house was no longer a fire hazard due to the obsolete Zinsco panel we had. I truly appreciate all their dedication to this project. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!!

They came by my house to give me an estimate for kitchen lights not working, after a short while they gave me an estimate for the price to fix it. I said I would consider and tell them by end of the day. The worker Israel tried to charge me $200 for the estimate/quote. I was never told that they would charge me for giving me an estimate/quote. He then said ok... $100. I paid and they stopped picking up my calls ever since. Terrible service. Please be up front that you charge $200 for quote fees.

Please dont have hidden fees. Say it up front so I know. Bad experience.

I contacted Hagan Electric upon the recommendation of a coworker, when I needed to upgrade my electrical panel. I also contacted a few other companies. Hagan had the most expensive quote, but unlike the other companies, Zach personally called me, requested photos of the project, spent something like 45 minutes on the phone with me initially explaining the scope and process of the project, and he sent a comprehensive and detailed written quote immediately to my email. With Hagan, I knew what to expect for this project, when I could expect the work to be done, how much it would cost, and what the finished product would be like. He also explained why the conduit(?) should also be changed out with the box, since we were upgrading from 125 to 200 amps. In contrast, the other companies I contacted just emailed me a single sheet of paper with an invoice on what it would cost to swap out the panel. Hagan Electric was the only company that I felt comfortable moving the project forward with. I was especially impressed with the work that Zach and Israel did, as well as their excellent communication skills. There was an issue with the installation of my panel, and I expressed my concern clearly to Zach, and we were able to resolve it together to my satisfaction. Zach also worked with me to get me exactly the paperwork I needed to supply to my home insurance company to prove that I had done the electrical work that they requested, and he did it as soon as the project was completed so that I didn't have any delay. Good company, good customer service, professional work, timely, and courteous. I think that you'll notice a real difference in quality even just going through the quote process. Would recommend!
