I own a new auto repair shop in RSM and we had the power go out so my entire operation was 'dead in the water'. No invoices, no credit card machine, I have electric powered hoists to lift cars, not even a coffee machine!

After checking the breakers and main breaker etc. I began frantically calling 8-10 different electricians and all of then were booked out for 3-7 days before they could get someone out to us.

I luckily stumbled upon Hackney Electric who was also booked up, however they still got someone over to our shop (I think it might have been the Owner).

Within 10 minutes he had my power up and running and refused to even charge me a service call fee?!

Absolutely a diamond in the rough!

My husband has worked w/ Hackney for commercial construction projects & recommended them when I needed some work done at my business. I needed approx 8 outlets installed. I received 2 quotes and Hackneys was significantly lower. The job was done well & completed the same day. I have since used them once more for a small repair and service was also performed well.

Hackney performed a remodel of a commercial building. We ran into numerous issues throughout the project but they were all handled professionally. They are not the cheapest and don't advertise to be, but having been in the business for 34 years, their wiring into the main panel was literally a piece of art. I would highly recommend them as electrical is one of a few things on which you shouldn't try to save money. It will be done per code and efficiently.

This group has been great. Like all jobs, we had things come up. Did we pay for most of it - sure. But it is quality and to code. Listen, you get what you pay for and if someone wants to charge me to do it cleaner, better, to code and I don't have to do it again... On electrical... We are all in. Excellent commercial contractor. Would use again

Unfortunately, I have to go through the management company to get any electric work done in the office. So they recommended Hackney Electric Inc. I was told they would be here at 8 and and they ended up not showing up until 11 am WITHOUT a phone call. Could not even get an estimated time of arrival if I killed myself. When I spoke to the General Manager Paul Fardis he asked me why should he call me or the management company and let us know they are running late when his guy is busy at another job?
BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND NOT INTERRUPTING WHEN SOMEONE IS TALKING!!!!!!!!!
The employee finally showed up and I sent him away. Guess what? $400 to install an outlet is not a great deal AT ALL when it come with poor service, people who have no respect for your time and don't have a care in the world for the people, but the MONEY and MONEY only!
Learn your lesson now rather than later when you loose all your customers! People and their time are more important than MONEY! Go learn some management and customer service skills while you're at it!
