I made a request for a quote for a service 6 days ago - specifically wanting a quote from them because they had such good reviews.

Ultimately, I didn't get a quote from them in time - while many of their competitors reached out to come check out my situation and give me an estimate.

Today I finally hear back from my quote request with a response of ""other; unable to service."" I'm pretty disappointed with them for a few reasons: 1.) it took them nearly a week to get back to me; 2.) they could have given me more info after making me wait almost a week instead of what looks like just clicking some button.

It really just struck me as a company that doesn't care if they got a new customer - and to me... that seems like a company that doesn't really care if they get return business from a customer or referrals from a previous customer for good work done. It just doesn't sit right with me.

I give HG Electric and Greg my highest recommendation. He is extremely knowledgeable, HONEST, very fair pricing, and very thoughtful on the best method for the work that needs to be done. He did a variety of electrical work in my house including installing POE security cameras, moving electrical outlets, adding recessed lights, fixing electrical lights, and installing 220V electrical charger. The drywall that had to be removed for these installations were minimal because of his experience and talent. One of the most professional contractors i have dealt with. You won't regret it.

I would highly recommend HG Electric for any electrical work you may need. I had an issue with a circuit breaker panel at the house. When Greg initially came out, the outlets the panel was connected to suddenly started working after being down for a few days. Because of that, Greg couldn't troubleshoot and fix the problem. He didn't charge me for the visit and he let me know to notify him when the outlets were down again. He came back when the outlets were down and was able to fix the issue within 5 minutes. Greg is a knowledgeable, responsive and honest individual. I would not hesitate to call on him again for any future electrical work.

Want to update my review- still a 5 star! We had Greg come back and take care of upgrading our entire electrical panel. He did it in a timely fashion, updated us along the way while we waited for permits and SDG&E, and was very reasonably priced. Greg is a great guy, and we won't hesitate to use him for future projects or to refer him to friends and neighbors(our neighbors have already used him, btw!)
