I found Greg on Thumbtack and scheduled him to come install a ceiling fan for me in an upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately, when scheduling him I didn't even consider that the radiant heating coils in the ceiling might be an issue - didn't even cross my mind as I was communicating about the work I needed done. When he got started, he discovered the heating elements and explained that installing the fan could damage them and that he didn't want to risk that unless I didn't plan on using the heating anymore. Since I do like having heat in my home, I decided no to proceed.

Greg was super nice, very communicative, very professional, and very forthright about his concerns re the heating elements. And he didn't charge me for his time to come out and get started. I will definitely have need for electrician services in the future and will definitely be calling Greg when I need them.

Greg was very responsive to my initial request and we quickly scheduled a work date. Greg tackled the installation of three ceiling fans and a dining room fixture. All four rooms required electrical drops in the ceiling as part of this job.

Greg knocked out all four rooms and overcame a few challenges due to the lack of access in the attic for two of the rooms.

I was highly impressed at the workmanship Greg displayed and the overall cost to value of the work is spot on. Greg completed the job as quoted. Any future electrical work I may require, HG Electric is my go to electrician.

Greg was great. We had him do our recessed lighting and shopped around for a contractor for months. Greg was always willing to discuss pricing and was open and honest about how we can save money. Once he did our lights in our common areas we were so pleased with his work and pricing that we had him come back do all our bedrooms. More than 40 lights later, our while house was changed.

The work didn't stop there, we had HG electric come back and comply rebuild our main electrical panel, troubleshoot some odd electric problems and wire our garage for a lighting and refrigerator. Greg was always fair and honest with his prices and did a great job explaining what we could do save costs and future problems.

If you want a fair, honest, electrician who will help you navigate cost issues then HG Electric is the way to go. I have 10 years of construction experience and have completely renovated my current house, and very few people take the time to work openly with there customers the way Greg did. Five stars!

Greg was a pleasure to do business with. He was very responsive and timely when scheduling for a quote. While quoting he was straightforward and efficient, and his price was very reasonable. We were looking to run power through our concrete foundation to an island in the kitchen. Greg arrived at 10 am on the dot, got to work, and got the job done in a few hours. Dryer went on the fritz, wasn't getting enough power (it seemed). Contacted Greg for a quote. He was back to me in less than an hour (on a Saturday). Reasonable price, came out and inspected the breaker box and found 2-3 issues in how that was done. Greg didn't only address the issue with a positive and professional attitude, he did extra things like talk on my level about was was crazy about the way the box was wired, cap some exposed wires, and mark one wire with red tape for easy recognition later. He also walked through the house with me to look at the wiring setup and explain what was good/not so good. These may be expected from an electrician , but not all of them take the time or have the patience. Class act, 5 stars. Will be working with Greg again.

I do most things around the house myself. When it comes to electrical work, I leave it to the professionals. And no one exemplifies professionalism like Greg. Punctual, efficient, and bested all other electricians I talked to to give a fair price.

Greg was an absolute pleasure to work with. I left a voicemail for him and received a call back within an hour with a SAME DAY time frame (30 mins) that he could be out to change our breaker.

Very professional on the phone and he was able to fit us into his schedule with the time frame our tenant gave us. When I checked in with the tenant he told us Greg was a ""cool guy"".
