Guy is great. He helped me install new cabinet handle pulls for my entire home. From beginning to end, he was friendly and professional. We spoke on the phone, his price was fair, and he was able to come out the next day. He showed up right on time, we talked through the job a bit, and then he went to work. Not only did the handles come out great, but what impressed me the most with Guy was his level of professionalism. He wanted to make it a point to complete the job at or under the timeframe he originally gave, which I definitely appreciated. But even more so, he insisted on cleaning up after himself as if he was never there. I appreciated this the most. I've hired others to come and help with various projects where they left a huge mess after. They did a good job, but I was left cleaning up a huge mess. Guy gives you the perfect before/after scenario you could hope for. By the time he comes and leaves, the job is done at a quality level, and it's as if he was never there. Very much appreciated, and will definitely use again in the future.

Phone and yelp inquiry review.

I am looking to double my existing microwave as a kitchen vent. I would need to have the vent tubing installed and holes made for ventilation.

I left a VM and sent a yelp message with a photo to get a better estimate. Guy was very quick to response. He apologized that he was currently too backed up and didn't have any one he could send to provide services.

It was unfortunate to hear but I was very appreciative of his honesty and prompt follow up.

I had Guy come out to handle a list of miscellaneous items, such has repair a roll away door, build a few items out of wood and install items, etc. Guy was prompt and a whirlwind of activity and completed the list faster than anticipated (he doesn't waste time) and at a high quality. I have used Guy the OC handyman service on two occasions now. - The first was for a TV mount and installation. He was reasonably priced, on time as scheduled and finished without leaving a huge mess behind, which is a lot more than I can say for most cable providers and electricians..

Today he was here to put together my new furniture and patch some walls that had been damaged during my move. And again, great service.

I have hired several handy mans in the past however had some pretty poor experiences. I really appreciate the fact that he was open to just helping me with what I considered to be small jobs. He was friendly and honest. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Just be sure to give enough notice for the request as he does seem to book up pretty fast. Now I know why.

If you need someone to mount your flat screen TVs in your living room and bedroom, Guy is the handyman to call. He took my service call immediately and showed up to my place on time, ready to go. He provided quality service at a fair market price. He also helped me with a kitchen sink filter that needed parts. His advice was spot on, and I completed the repair only after 1 trip to home depot. I highly recommend Guy for your next home project!

Called him because had several small jobs needed done. After listening to what I needed, curtain rods hung, toilet repair, hanging mirror, etc. He claimed he was booked for next 2 weeks then going out of town. He didn't say that up front when he called. Guess my jobs were too small. Felt he was blowing me off. He told me to find someone else.

Update: this guy called me twice - left me a crazy frantic voicemail and texted me after my review begging me to take it down. I said I have every right to post about my experience. The good news is I did find a real handy man who was happy to come over and help me out. I paid his hourly rate for 2 hours and gave him a 40 tip. Glad to know there are people in business to help people do small jobs around the house that they can't do them selves.
