I needed substantial re-wiring and needed it fast. I contacted several local electricians. Carlos was the most responsive, the most thorough in investigating the scope of the project, and the most helpful in explaining things. He was clear and never condescending; he was reassuring instead of alarmist. Carlos hired extra help to meet my challenging schedule. He and his crew showed up on time, got the work done on time, and were meticulous in keeping things cleaned up. He was a pleasure to work with and I was entirely satisfied. I will call on Guerreros Electric for any future electrical needs.

The lights are on and we've been saved from electrical explosion. We bought a house with wiring that was far away from being up to code. Unfortunately, the city signed off on the work and we bought the house knowing we would have to hire an electrician to bring our main and sub electrical panels up to code so in case of a lightening strike we wouldn't get incinerated. I found Guerreros Electric and Carlos through Yelp. Carlos came after regular business hours, in the rain, to look at our electrical disaster and informed me what he would do and why how it was done was incorrect. We were able to schedule an appointment in a reasonable time. There was a small incident with the inspector who just happened to come by and find out if our work was permitted. Carlos handled the situation professionally and did what he could to make sure he made the repairs safely, in a cost effective manner, and legally. Carlos and his team are very thorough and explained and showed me the work as it was being done and when it was completed. I appreciate the great service and work done to make our home safe.

My wife and I just finished a full kitchen remodel and used Guerreros Electric. A friend recommended him to me so we gave him a call. I had a contractor but I was essentially my own general and managed all the subs. There were several delays that were out of all parties control (generally on the supply side) so the project took several weeks longer than first anticipated. From the beginning to the end Carlos was timely, polite, knowledgeable, professional, clean, and accommodating. His time and budget estimates were accurate. His crew was extremely prompt and efficient - I couldn't believe it.

One of his crew came out to the job site the Friday before the Monday they were going to start to review the plans and roughed out walls. The team shows up the next Monday AM to get started and he knew the plans inside and out and could recite the entire project from memory (accurately). Carlos showed up for all inspections personally and even helped my young contractors out in the process. I would use Carlos again in the future in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone.

Carlos is amazing. Not only did he go out of his way to accommodate my crazy schedule but he was very efficient by having me text a photo of the suspect breaker so he could make sure he had the right part. He was very good at trouble shooting and very knowledgable. Save time by calling him first!

Absolutely the best. Carlos is the rare fix it guy who is a true professional. He has done 4 or 5 different jobs for me from a simple breaker problem, to re-wiring a whole addition to my house. Everything is always done perfectly and on time. Plus he's a really nice guy.

He is always a little more expensive than everyone else but I think he can afford to charge more because he is so good at what he does.

I just called Guerreros Electric and got Carlos directly, which was a breath of fresh air after calling 2 other companies and leaving msgs....one two days ago. I explained that I had overloaded a circuit in the garage and couldn't get electricity back in the garage. When I flip the circuit breaker on, it just flips off. He walked me through it on the phone and told me I have to flip the switch further off until I hear a click before flipping on again. It worked and electricity in the garage is back on. I then asked if he thinks I should get another electric box in the garage since I have everything going to one switch. He basically said that if it only happened once and if I don't have to use all that I was using at the same time, I'm probably fine. Now how good is that. Taught me how to deal with the circuit breaker and talked me out of spending money for now as it doesn't seem necessary. Great guy. I will definitely be calling again when I have some ""real"" electrical work!!

If I could give Carlos 50 stars I would. He talked me through a potential freak out when I accidentally messed up something when removing a light fixture. He was calm and sweet on the phone and guided me through finding the right breaker and magically fixing it all. Apparently we had two breaker boxes. His calm demeanor was just what I needed. No more DIY electrics for me at least. And nice to know who to call when I need an electrician.

Echoing how great Carlos and his guys are. I'm in a circa '37 house with equally old wiring. I called first thing on MLK day when I discovered my kitchen ceiling light wouldnt go on the nite before after swapping out all the bulbs for others. Carlos told me up front the cost of ""trouble-shooting"" & that often problems are taken care of within that first hour. He scheduled me in that mid-afternoon. Before he arrived I discovered I had mistakenly pulled the hanging string of the light in question and cut-off the power, duh...blonde moment. But,,, the double switch was funky and hanging from the wall & I had several other funky outlets and switches. Carlos and his great guys were prompt and super efficient. Not only did he fix all the switches/outlets but he installed a new kitchen outlet for my microwave so I dont have to keep blowing fuses and unsafely using 30 amp ones, and replaced several ungrounded outlets with gfci outlets. All this was done under 2 hours. The price for all the work was totally fair. I highly recommend these fellows, any time. Having a blonde moment was ""a good thing!.""
