It was so easy to work with Carlos (and his helper Jose)! He was really responsive ahead of our appointment, and on the day of, he was very quick to finish the work of adding two outlets in our TV room. His price is very reasonable. He stayed within his original estimate even though he did a little extra work that he felt needed to be done to make our house safer. Highly recommend him!

Came right away and solved what seemed like a big problem -- which was actually something we could have fixed ourselves. Showed us how to fix it if it happens again and spent time inspecting to help us figure out what we were doing to cause the short.

We were having problems with one of our old knob and tube circuits and no ground wire, so we decided to upgrade our electrical this year. Guerrero's disconnected all knob and tube, rewired with Romex, inspected some Romex that wasn't done quite right by a previous electrician, inspected our main panel, gave us a new subpanel, moved our dryer outlet, put in lots more receptacles and switches, some ceiling lighting, and installed all our new outdoor lights (LED). Most importantly they ran us new ground wires. We now have all new electrical in our house in Berkeley thanks to Carlos and his crew and we're very happy. Carlos really knows the Berkeley code (I wanted to meet code) which can be complicated. He worked closely with me on the best positioning for our recessed lighting in the living room, which was tricky because of the ceiling joists. His crew worked in our house opening up walls to run the Romex, up in our attic with blown in insulation, and down in our crawlspace. The guys were really nice and took good care of our house. And Carlos took good care of his crew, which is really important to me. [I've worked with contractors that do not treat their employees well.] I really liked working with Carlos and am happy to support a local business. Five stars!

I have been reading the great reviews Guerreros Electric get for years. A couple of times I have gotten quotes but they were a little higher so I went with other electricians. Big mistake. I always end up having to get something similar done in a couple of years. This time I did get them to do the work and the quality of care and the knowledge was more than worth the little extra I paid than other quotes. No comparison. They ended up redoing a lot of the work I had done over the years and told me why I keep having trouble. They showed me what they would do and why. I feel so much safer and really appreciate the professionalism. I don't really understand why other electricians didn't pick up on the problems because they seem so obvious to me after walking through everything. Thank you Carlos and team.

Carlos arrived right on time to advise me on an ""open ground"" kitchen circuit. He also reviewed our very ""dated"" 1956 fuse box. Very knowledgeable and honest with his recommendations. Knows what he's talking about, I would not use any other electrician for our future work, and I recommend Guerreros Electric with no reservation.

I got shocked in my shower when I touched a faucet. Then my husband got shocked by the faucet while doing the dishes. This was at 6pm on Saturday night. I called Guerreros electric and Carlos picked up and immediately warned me to not touch anything metal, to wear rubber shoes, to cut the electricity to my home and to call PG&E for a faulty ground, which I did. Carlos informed me that my family was in danger and helped walk us through to safety. We are not even clients, just a random phone call on Saturday night. He followed through with text messages to ensure we were safe and following up with next steps. He is truly an incredible person and knowledgeable. I will call him after the earthquake when I can maybe afford to buy a home in my hometown.

What a great experience! Guerreros Electric fixed a broken outlet, replaced a ceiling fan, and replaced a motion detector light and I am so happy with how everything came together! The crew of people working were so friendly, polite, and working really hard and fast to get it done in just a few hours. I am totally impressed! And the price for everything was totally reasonable!
