Having spent two decades in the industry, we chose to establish our own business. Operating out of Elk Grove, we are pleased to provide services throughout the Sacramento area.
With education from trade school and real-world experience, I’ve developed a strong passion for electrical contracting. My efforts are driven by the desire to support my wife and daughters. When I have free time, I enjoy golfing or fishing. I also have a fondness for sushi and pizza!

i found Guardian Electric on yelp. read the reviews & then phoned. Brandon answered, said he would come out later that day (Good Fri) but then phoned back to reschedule as he was behind...we agreed on Sat. am. but, the Sat. appt. came & went with Brandon not showing up or phoning. 2 calls to his # did not generate a return call. now, its Mon. & the 2 gfi's are still out. this is not a professional way to run a business. i live in a senior gated community & thought i might have found an electrician that i could recommend to neighbors....i was wrong. i'm very disappointed that he would be so cavalier treating customers.

Follow up to my past review...been trying to contact Brandon for several months and finally left a detailed message about the problem regarding his electrical install....he said he guaranteed his work...but still no call back...no nothing....to me that is not professional and his guarantee is not true.....everytime I turn on a switch he installed....it makes sparks...so I am scared to turn them on...might cause a fire? I've been trying to contact him to fix this issue....but why he does not return a call on something so important?

I've used Brandon at Guardian Electrics three times now and each time he has exceeded my expectations. He always calls first, texts, and emails, is extremely responsive and professional, though no job is too small, like when he came over just to change out a patio light and vanities in the bathroom. His pricing is more than fair and he will show you his receipts for parts from home depot (he doesn't mark up parts...wish I could say the same for my plumber!) Too bad I can't hire him for my sprinkler system, plumbing or other jobs around the house!

I own a commercial maintenance company in Sacramento and many projects require a sub contractor. When I was unable to get a return call from my normal electrician, I called Guardian Electric. I spoke with Brandon who was very busy. But he came out that early evening and diagnosed a problem I could not even get bids from other electricians for. And his price was super reasonable. I also had him bypass a light on control panel at another property and he did a great job at a super price. I will use Guardian from now on.

Best electrical help I've ever had. They fixed my pool light switch wiring in less than 1/2 hour. Super friendly and efficient.

All around stand up guy. Brandon was fast and efficient. He went above the call of duty in an effort to diagnose the issue. He completed the task when three other companies had failed. Highly recommend him.

Hired Brandon last year for two ceiling fan installs and gave him an excellent review. Hired him recently for two more installs...He ruined one ceiling fixture box in the bedroom because of the amount of drilling he did and nearly gave up on hanging the second (it was a Hunter brand nothing exotic). Wow what a difference a year makes. I'm utterly dismayed and have to hire another electrician to fix this mess!

While I like to think that there are many projects around the house that I am capable of doing, I will not do electrical projects because of the potential risk of serious injury or death when one doesn't know what he's doing. In the past, I've always used the same electrician, who has always provided excellent service. So when I bought three Minka-Aire ceiling fans and needed them installed, it was only logical for me to call the same electrician. While he agreed to do the project, he never responded to my request for a bid. While I like the electrician, I don't like him enough to hand him a blank check.
So my wife found Guardian Electric on Yelp. I was hesitant to use an electrician that I knew nothing about, but agreed to meet with Brandon (the owner) for a free estimate. Ultimately, Brandon was the cheapest of three electricians we received bids from, so we elected to go with him. Besides, he works on weekends which works out best for my wife an me.
We are very happy and pleased with Brandon's work, and Guardian Electric has now become our ""normal"" electrician. Since we were having three ceiling fans installed, two in the same room, each fan had to be programmed to a different frequency so none of them interferred with the others. Anyone who has bought a Minka-Aire fan knows how poorly some of its instructional manuals are written. While the manual described the process for changing the frequency on the switch by changing the positions of the dip switches, it did not explain how to program the receiver to the corresponding frequency. And since Brandon came on a Saturday, Minka-Aire's technical support was not open. He agreed to come back Monday morning and call technical support to solve the problem. AND HE DID THIS WITHOUT CHARGING US.
Brandon came on Monday and called technical support. It turns out that the steps for programming the receiver to recognize the frequency on which the switch is involves a specific sequence of pushing the buttons on the switch. Of course, it would have made too much sense for Minka-Aire to have described that sequence in its manual. Fortunately, someone in technical support walked Brandon through the process, and he successfully programmed all three fans.
In summary, we really liked Brandon because he responded to our request for a bid in a timely manner, charged a reasonable price, did good work, and had enough pride to follow through when he had trouble setting the frequencies. The fact that he did not charge for the second visit, which was necessitated through no fault of his own, shows how much integrity he has.
