Frustrated with trying to change fluorescent lights in the closet, I knew I needed a ballast installed, which is way beyond my google/ handyman skill level. Found Michael on Yelp, sent him a message and 5 minutes later he called me back. On a job, headed to another, he could get to me later in the day. Went on Yelp at 12:30, at 4 pm Michael was walking through my front door. Checked my unit, tested the wiring, off to Miners, back with a ballast, installed, new LED lights in place, go to go by 4:30. Quick, efficient, honest, I have lights in the closet and an electrician I can depend on for future jobs.

I hired GSS electrical to replace some outlets and do an electrical panel upgrade. When Michael showed up he was courteous and professional. I was initially impressed with his breadth of knowledge on all the potential work I needed. He was not pushy but did inform me of all of the issues I should consider addressing in addition to the ones I called him for. The final result was top notch. Do you have an old Pushmatic, Bulldog or Zinsco electric panel that your insurance company is telling you you have to replace? Well I did and Michael was the man for the job. My house was built in 63 and it had no ground rods and lots of changes over the years. Michael came in and got it up to code with 2 new 8 ft ground rods and a complete panel replacement, labels and all, in no time. He was fast, efficient and reasonable. I even added a last minute new exterior outlet addition to the job that he knocked out in just a couple of minutes. Michael is now my go to electrician and he should be yours also.
